There's a lot you can get delivered now-from fried chicken to pizza and pasta and even ramen. Why not try pork buns, for a change? You can now order these flaky treats and even dim sum from Tim Ho Wan's SM Megamall and Glorietta 3 branches. The resto chain is open for pickup, takeout, and delivery from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, accepting orders from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You can pay via BDO or Chinabank bank transfer, GCash, Alipay, or through an easy access payment link they'll send you upon ordering, and have it delivered through your courier of choice (such as Grab or Lalamove), or through SM Megamall's Mega To-Go Courier Delivery service.
On the delivery menu is their famous flaky-yet-soft Baked Buns with BBQ Pork (P170/three pieces), which has melt-in-your mouth, flavorful pork inside. You can also get the Beef Ball with Beancurd Skin (P135), which has juicy, meaty balls of beef on tender beancurd skins.
Craving chicken? Go for the Fried Chicken Wings with Prawn Sauce (P155). For something different, try the crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside Tofu with Pork Floss (P145), which is excellent paired with their Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf (P210).
Tim Ho Wan hails from Hong Kong, and is known as the world's cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant. They came to the Philippines in 2014 and became a hit with Filipinos, spurring long lines with their affordable, high-quality Chinese eats.
