A good macaron should have a strong flavor and a beautiful texture. “It should be a little bit crunchy, a little bit chewy right after, and then the flavor should come out. If you have those three things, you’re good,” says Chef Seb.

Chef Seb recommends you pair your macarons with either coffee or tea for an authentic Parisian dining experience.
Macarons ideally should be eaten within the day, but if you plan to reserve them for another binge session, Chef Seb says it’s best if you keep them in the freezer instead of the refrigerator. “You’ll need to defrost it first in the fridge, and then you can eat them.”
HOW TO EAT IT:
Relish your macaron by only taking small bites—no need for forks or other fancy implements. Close your eyes while eating it to truly savor its exquisite taste, Chef Seb suggests.

“Chef was telling me before that it’s the kind of food you can have any time of the day because its flavor is not overpowering,” says Timi Nubla, The Peninsula Manila’s Public Relations Manager. “So it’s something that you can eat at any time of the day. You can even have it for breakfast. That’s the beauty of the macaron.”
