If you've been to Singapore, then you're probably familiar with the Jiufen-inspired desserts of Nine Fresh, and if you can't wait to try them again, you're in luck, as the popular chain is coming to Manila.

You'll soon enjoy their foodie favorites with three signature bases: bean curd made from soy (which will remind you of taho), ai-yu jelly (which is made from fig seeds and slighlty sweetened with brown sugar), and the familiar grass jelly. 

Added to these bases are toppings of your choice—black pearl, milk cups, soft or roasted peanuts, lotus nuts, barley, red bean, green bean, pinto bean, eight treasure bean, sweet potato, yam, konjac jelly, black sugar jelly dice, aloe vera pearl jelly,  mango pearl jelly, lychee pearl jelly, passionfruit pearl jelly, grape pearl jelly, taro balls, mochi balls, and the newly lauched ube ball specifically made for the Pinoy palate.

Nine Fresh Singature

Combination of: bean curd, grass jelly, red bean, green bean, pinto bean, peanuts, and taro balls.

Nine Fresh Signature is a cooling and (super) filling dessert that's almost a cross between chilled taho and halo-halo (sans the ice). It's definitely something that you'll love eating for merienda.

Grass Jelly Special

Price: P110

Combination of: grass jelly, aloe vera pearl jelly, black sugar jelly dice, taro balls, and milk cup

This light combination of jellies and milk is the perfect ending to any full meal.

Fruity Ai-yu Jelly

Combination of: ai-yu jelly, aloe very pearl jelly, mango pearl jelly, konjac jelly, taro balls, and milk cup

If you love everything brown sugar, then you'll enjoy this lightly sweetened treat. (The taro balls and the red beans add an interesting and familiar texture, too!)
