Here at FN, we just can't get enough of Japanese food, so when we received an invitation from Ogetsu Hime, we just had to go. Named for a Japanese food goddess, the restaurant has an impressive selection of Japanese dishes and is known for its specialized menu of sushi, teppanyaki and sukiyaki with high-quality ingredients, both local and flown-in straight from Japan.
This season, we're particularly excited for Ogetsu Hime's Best of Japan menu, which includes the Matsusaka beef (known for its high flavor, juiciness, tenderness and marbling), otoro (premium bluefin tuna belly), hamachi (Japanese yellowtail), and amaebi (Hokkaido sweet shrimp), as well as anago (saltwater eel), hotategai (Hokkaido Japanese scallops), and engawa (Japanese halibut)–all of which are available at half price. Yes, you read that right! Half price!
