Summer wouldn’t be complete without a sip of something cool, especially here in the Philippines, where the heat can become atrocious at certain times of the day. You can cool down with a refreshing fruit shake or a halo-halo, but if you’re looking for a grown-up way to beat the heat, why not go for an ice-blended cocktail instead? There are a lot of them out there, and it’s just a matter of finding your own match.

We asked Kat Nantes of Paire Cocktails and Pastries to share some information about frozen cocktails, which, she says, are especially great to sip during the afternoon, when the sun is at its hottest. Read on for what she has to say!
