Roast whole chickens, pork loins, or even a roast beef over the weekend, so you can transform them into a delicious meal–fast. Just cook then store in the refrigerator or pack in the freezer if storing for longer than a few days. Once you’ve got your roasts, pair them with delicious sauces and side dishes, like this creamy sauce with roast pork that’s also tossed into cooked pasta, that easily becomes a great family dinner.

Pork in Creamy Pesto

Takes 10 min.
Makes 4 to 6 servings

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 whole cooked basic pan-roasted Pork Loin, sliced thinly
1/2 cup pesto
1 cup cream
1/4 cup water
Cooked pasta
Grated Parmesan cheese

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the pork. Add the pesto and cream. Simmer until heated through. Add water if sauce is too thick. Toss in the cooked pasta. Before serving, top with grated cheese.
