All houses have a history. Some are lucky enough to inherit happy memories, but others carry the weight of something a bit more sinister. This Halloween, you don’t need to wander too far out to experience a haunting, not when all the ghost stories you could ever want (or not want) may be found right in your own home.
1. Three-way calling from the great beyond
"I was home alone and talking on the phone. We were laughing quite loudly over something we're fangirling over, when there was a sound of the phone being lifted and then an angry older male voice hissed very sternly 'HOOOY!'
We were both stunned into complete silence. We asked if either of us have party lines, but we both have none. And then next question was if we had extensions. She didn't have one, but oh, I do. I was downstairs, and the extension of our landline is IN MY ROOM. Just imagine how horrified I was, because I was all alone that day. That's why I could laugh with abandon. Or at least I thought I could. That was a sobering moment for me. That friend never called my landline again. EVER."

2. Encounters with a malevolent male ghost
"I was off from college and moved back to my parents' place, which happens to be a house that we were renting back then. Around 3:00 A.M., I was unpacking my things and rearranging my books. Ang busy busy ko and so focused with what I was working on kaya di ko napapansin ang paligid ko. Kaso talaga I couldn't help but notice parang ang bigat sa likod ko kaya napalingon ako. Ang nakita ko is a black form of a man na mabilis na nawala pataas. Definitely taller than I am. During that time, as much as I wanted to think that I was just lacking sleep (I'm a certified owl btw), nanghina talaga ako to the point na napaupo ako. Ang negative ng vibes na parang drained energy mo, definitely different 'dun sa dumadaan lang. 'Di ko alam kung ghost ba talaga 'yun or what. Anyway, natulog na lang talaga ako after that.
I kept it to myself and I was in denial, like most of the time. A form of defense mechanism that is until a few days after when my sister told me her experience, definitely the same as mine, around the same time also. Dun ko nga nalaman sa kanya 'yung "witching hour." Naisip ko nga based 'dun sa mga nabasa ko dito na baka incubus pero nasa kama ang na-imagine ko na incubus hahaha. Anyway, masasabi ko that from the feel of it, malalaman mo naman kung may masama talagang pakay sayo, and that one that we had was definitely not good."
(I was off from college and moved back to my parents' place, which happens to be the house that we were renting back then. It happened around 3:00 A.M, I was unpacking my things and rearranging my books. I was so busy and focused on what I was working on, so I didn't pay attention to my surroundings. But I really couldn't help but notice that there was something heavy on my back so I found myself turning around. What I saw was a black form of a man that quickly disappeared upward, who was definitely taller than I am. During that time, as much as I wanted to think that I was just lacking sleep (I'm a certified owl btw), I really felt weak to the point that I had to sit down. There were negative vibes, like you were drained of your energy, which is definitely different from an entity that was just passing through. I didn't know whether that was really a ghost or what. Anyway, I simply slept after that.

A form of defense mechanism that is until a few days after when my sister told me her experience, definitely the same as mine, around the same time also. It was from her that I learned "witching hour." Based on the posts that I have read here, I thought that it might have been an incubus, but the incubus I imagine is one that's on the bed hahaha. Anyway, I can really say that from the feel of it, you could tell whether the entity has an evil motive, and that one that we had was definitely not good.

3. An abnormally unsettling visit from an in-law
"I wrote my previous post here on this thread inside my hubby's room dito sa bahay nila sa Bulacan. Around 30 mins after I posted my post, I prepared to go to sleep. My husband beside me was already sound asleep. Ipinikit ko mata ko para matulog na. Siguro wala pang one minute, napadilat ako. May naramdaman kasi akong malamig na humawak sa batok ko. Imposible naman na electric fan dahil una, nakaharap ako sa electric fan, pangalawa, iba yung lamig na humawak sa batok ko... imposible din na bintana cus sarado 'yung nag-iisang bintana sa kuwarto namin ni hubby. Almost a year na din ako nakatira dito so since then, never pa ako nakaramdam nang ganung weird na feeling dito sa room namin. So natakot talaga ako at ginising ko hubby ko. Alam ni hubby na duwag ako pagdating sa mga nakakatakot na bagay kaya inaya nalang niya ako na bumaba at manood ng TV.
Pagbaba namin, 'andun si mother-in-law (MIL) at yung kasambahay watching TV. My MIL, unaware of what I had experienced upstairs, told us that Pogi ('yung dog nila) seemed disturbed. Na nakita kong totoo naman... and my MIL said na amoy beer daw kanina pa. Nung suminghot ako, true enough, amoy beer nga. E wala namang umiinom sa paligid. Then sabi ni MIL, tingin daw niya nasa paligid 'yung late father ni hubby.
(I wrote my previous post here on this thread inside my hubby's room here at their house in Bulacan. Around 30 minutes after I posted my post, I prepared to hit the sheets. My husband beside me was already sound asleep. I closed my eyes so I could go to sleep. Probably less than a minute later, I find myself waking up, as I had felt something cold touch the back of my nape. It couldn't have possibly been the electric fan because for one, I was facing the electric fan. Secondly, whatever touched my nape somehow had a different kind of coldness. It couldn't have come the window either because the one and only window in our room was shut. I've lived here for almost a year and I haven't felt anything weird like this in our room. I was really scared and woke my hubby up. He knows how much of a scaredy-cat I am with these things so he invited me to just go downstairs and watch TV.
Downstairs, my mother-in-law (MIL) and the helper were watching TV. My MIL, who was unwaware of what I had experienced upstairs, told us that Pogi (their dog) seemed disturbed, which I also noticed... my MIL also said that the air has smelled like beer since a while ago. True enough, the place did reek of alcohol even if no one was drinking in the vicinity. MIL then said that my hubby's late father could be around.
