TV host-actress Kris Aquino shared a quote she got from Archbishop Soc Villegas on her Twitter page on Wednesday. The Tweet quoted Taoist scholar Lao Tzu: “Manifest plainness, embrace simplicity, reduce selfishness, and have few desires.”

“Want to be happy? Keep your desires simple and your needs few. God bless us w/ happier & simpler lives,” Kris said in her Tweet. After her sisters Ballsy and Pinky both texted her asking if she understood what she just posted, Kris shared her reply on Twitter: “I said YES, I want to be happy so I’m gonna try to have simple wants & needs!”
