I really loved the Benton snail bee essence. I layer it twice/thrice during my morning routine before my serum and sunblock. Minsan I used it as a stand-alone moisturizer during day time pag nasa bahay lang. I liked how it absorbs in my skin without leaving a film or looking greasy after. And also, I easily got flustered which makes my face looks red. Layering the benton essence has helped calm the redness and makes my skin look plump.

Anyone here tried ordering from Go Bloom and Glow? They're an online shop based fron Cebu and I'm from Makati. Just wondering how long the shipping takes and how's the service? TIA!

Same tayo sis @klariza_yabu001 but not a very happy ending for me. I have spent a lot of money buying one K-beauty product after the other. Once na deliver na yung order/s ko, I couldn't stop myself from ordering more! I am guilty of not patch testing, and using everything all at the same time :( I also cannot point out which product in particular broke me out kasi sabay sabay ko sila ginamit.

My regimen before all hell broke lose -

Neogen gauze pad wine (2x a week)
CosRX Low PH cleanser/Innisfree green barley bubble cleanser
CosRX Pimple Pad
CosRX Skin Returning A-Sol (used as a toner)
Missha First Treatment Essence (bought a spray bottle pa for this for easier, more economical application)
Innisfree Whitening Pore synergy serum
Innisfree perfect 9 eye cream
Inissfree Whitening Pore cream
Cosrx rice or honey sleeping pack
Laneige lip sleeping pack

*CosrX pimple patch on zits

1st week my skin started to feel really soft and supple. So this encouraged me to keep doing the 10 steps. 2nd week I noticed my skin getting very greasy. I thought, oks lang, chokchok/dewy skin to! I bought oil control film to combat the greasiness. 3rd week came the breakouts. My face was riddled with small bumps, closed comedones, actual zits. Not sure I was allergic to any of the ingredients or my skin was purging. It got so bad, I panicked and had to consult with a dermatologist for my skin emergency.

Now I'm back to using VMV, Cetaphil/Teranex and derma prescriptions. Byebye K-beauty. I gave my stash to my mom. I still visit Shopee, beautyMNL, althea, skin care curator occasionally. A friendly warning for everyone - Don't get too excited. Do extensive research. Not everything that works for everyone else will work for you. Patch test! Introduce products one by one. :) The pros know this already, but for the newbies... Hope this helps!

Sis krabby_patty I steer away from acids sis since I'm not really acne-prone so I dont see any reason to use BHA/AHA or any acids. I also don't patch test and so far no bad signs naman from my skin. All of the products i am using naman are gentle enough for me. Though on the first few weeks of using kbeauty prods ng sabay sabay, I got a few pimples on my brows and forehead area, turns out my new eyebrow pencil was the cause. And dahil sa kbeauty prods ko the next day wala na mga pimples.

I get the feeling na dahil sa acids ang breakout mo sis

Same with sis krabby_patty. At first ang ganda ng skin ko very smooth lalo na with vit c serums and laneige sleeping packs. Kaso after some time nag-flare up yung rosacea ko. For two weeks, mizon toner and j&J moisturizer lang ang nagbalik ng skin. I was thinking if I should give up on korean skincare na lang.

Pag nakikita ko my stash, nanghihinayang ako. Puro full bottles kasi binibili ko  :'( :'( :'(
Now I'm contemplating on buying several items which is compatible for my rosacea face (cosrx galactomytes, azaleic acid, rice mask) pero undecided pa rin ako.

Pero tinatamad pa ko umorder kasi I'm still convincing myself.

^^with regards sa ost vit c serum, wala namang negative effects. When I use it ang ganda ng skin ko and iba yung glow niya. Nasayangan ako bumili ulit kasi I can't consume the full bottle kaya I try naman brtc vit c ampoule as an alternative. At first ok din maganda siya. But I notice pag ginagamit ko siya ngayon lumalabas yung small rash sa upper cheek ko, though I'm almost done with the bottle.  I think I'm already irritated na also by AHAs and BHAs na minsan ko lang naman ginamit :'( :'(

Di ako masyado bumibili ng sample size kasi feeling ko lugi ako ang laki kasi ng shipping fee but when I look at my stash, parang mas lugi sa full bottle products na hindi hiyang. Lesson learned hehe though yung iba naman talaga walang sample size.

I'll try another batch of products this month. Extensive research muna ko ngayon. Ilang forums din binabasa ko.

So far the only product that I buy repeatedly/consumed the full bottle at hiyang sa face ko:
Mizon daily clean toner
Dynasty cream
Laneige sleeping pack
Inisfree green tea seed serum
LJH tea tree essence

Yung Mishha borabit ko inuubos ko lang pero honestly, I don't see anything na nagawa niya sa face ko aside from the plumpness when I put it, yun lang.

Ang mumura pero yung iba made in China. Nakabili ako ng highlighter, cc cushion, 2-way powder at water jelly lip and cheek tint na comparable sa lip and cheek tint ng The Face Shop.

Can anyone recommend a good whitening essence that doesn't have arbutin? Any feedback? Thanks!!

Sobrang sensitive ng skin ko lately. Last month, i experienced for the first time in my life na magka dermatits sa face. As in all over.. scared to use aha and bha na rin. Right now, the only korean product that i can still use on mu face without irritation is the aromatica tea tree toner and ljh tea tree essence.. sometimes i use my chica y chico moisturizer.

Me too :( Maganda naman talaga Korean skincare at first pero after a few months parang mas nagiging sensitive or dry or with breakouts na. That's why i just stick to one brand na lang, I just use Benton products since dun ako hiyang. Sa sheet masks naman I only buy sheet masks from 3 brands. Dami ko din nasayang na products :(

^the cleansers you mentioned have a high pH level; thus, making your skin dry as it strips off the natural moisture/oil of your skin. I suggest you look for a low pH level cleanser like the ones from cosrx, human nature, safeguard, celeteque :)

But it all boils down to your preference. :)

Hi sis @klariza_yabu001! Saw your question about Go Bloom and Glow. I bought from them a few weeks ago. OK naman, my items reached me in less than a week. I bought Cosrx products from them. The only thing I don't like is medyo mas mahal required purchase before I can avail of free shipping hehe.

I just realized since humid ang weather natin dito we don't really need that many steps in our skincare routine. Sa south korea kasi malamig weather diba so they need a lot of products to moiturize their skin. I suddenly had tiny bumps on my forehead kasi and my face became oilier than usual. So I reduced my routine to 6 steps nalang: foam cleanser, toner, essence, serum (am), exfoliator (weekly), sunscreen (am). My skin got better right away. I omitted moisturizer since my serum is oil based. Now I can say my skin is balanced na. I also don't use sheet masks anymore. I gave away all the other stuff I don't use anymore and regretted why I splurged so much on this lol

This is what happened to me as well. Medyo impatient din kasi ako so I didn't do what others usually recommend, yung introducing new products one by one. Basta bili lang ako and use/try them all at the same time. I was using the following:

Banila Co. Clean It Zero
CosRX Low pH Cleanser
Son & Park Beauty Water
CosRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (every other day dapat gagawin ko dito)
Mizon All In One
Banila Co. Miss Flower and Mr Honey Essence Oil

Before I bought the rest I already had the Essence Oil, yun pa nga lang yung gamit ko bumps showed na, pero go lang kasi I thought that my skin is just adapting since I don't really use moisturizer on my face or even lotion sa body. My skin was used to being dry. Kaso it didn't go away. My hubby uses the essence oil na since hiyang naman siya. I only have the beauty water, CIO, and AIO with me. I threw everything else. I don't exfoliate once a week, I use a konjac sponge everyday and it's enough na I think.

Do you guys have any recommendations? Yung light lang sa skin, 'cause it seems like my skin doesn't like anything heavy.
