Sis, Bride House Ph & White Label are Makati-based Bridal shops. BHP meron silang RTW, pwede din pa customize. 20k up for the RTW, customized gowns starts at 30k. I find the gowns at White Label really elegant, a bit expensive lang but those were some of the best that I've tried.

I have this minor dilemma. I saw a dress/gown by a well known mid-range designer that I liked. Thanks to GT for the lead.  But my mom has insisted on paying for my gown. Thing is she her designer is medyo high end, popular & expensive. I've read around here that it's improper & disrespectful to show a peg from another local designer. Buti sana if I'm showing a high end designer's gown to the mid-range or low end designer kaso it's the other way around.

out of all the mid range designers I like it has to be Kristel Yulo. but her price for my peg is out of my budget so no thanks. I like hers and mel orlina the most.

Hey corpse_bride, you could go through your peg again and identify what specific elements you like about it (cut, fabric, etc). You can go to Pinterest or Google using these items as your search string; and whatever comes up you can use as your peg. It doesn't have to be one photo; could be a series of photos which the designer can use as a guide. It's gonna be a longer process for this designer, but let's hope it goes to the same place

Question lang for the other girls here: are there any Claiza Bihasa or Hannah Kong brides/clients here? I saw their names in the previous threads and want to see how they are muna before contacting them sana Thanks in advance!!

^ thanks, sis! Thing is I want that exact gown haha I'll google it the cut etc. kaso lang takot din ako maya ma-accuse na naman my mom's designer of copying haha I have other pegs namab but I just died when I saw that one gown. Oh well.

Hi sissies! anyone of you who booked Haydee Garcia as their couturier? I checked out her sample bridal gowns in her studio, so far I was impressed sa gowns niya. She's young but her designs are promising.. any feedback will do.. Thanks!

I'm one of Haydee Garcia's bride! So far I'm happy naman you can back read in one of the threads here in GT (Gown, Dresses etc from pt 14 to 15) I found Haydee thru GT also! She's very accomodating to us and her rates and affordable too!

Haydee Garcia bride here as well! My gown is a-okay! i'm super happy with the fitting of my gown minor alteration na lang sa length but it fit like a glove in my body. She told me she will increase her rate na by 2016 ang starting ata nya will be 40k-45k (not sure) try scouting other designer if mas bet mo talaga style ni Haydee then go for it na! So far I haven't encountered any problem dealing with her happy preps mga sis!

glad to hear that you guys are happy with Haydee.

I heard a very negative feedback about her so did not push through with shortlisting her as a gown designer. BUT she is very nice to speak with in person or over the phone.

Leaning towards Haydee Garcia at this point.. I visited her again and she quoted me 48k for my gown with accesories and free bridal service. My h2b doesn't know how to appreciate gowns or dresses that much that's why i was surprised He liked Haydee's design compared to the one Mel Orlina and Mara Chua sketched for me..

^ hi sis! Vonbride here yes he's midrange. His gowns start at 70k. I also like the works of Jazel Sy but Im not sure if she's still midrange kasi namamahalan na ko sa rates nya.

But I saw on his website na his gowns(Von Lazaro) starts at 40k? Does it mean ito ay yun simpleng designs lang or ready to wear na?

Wow napakadame na palang new names. Im not sure if considered pa bang mid range si Marc Rancy but him and Jun Escario lang ang alam kong accredited ng Swarovski ewan ko lang if may nadagdag na ngayon. And since may Marc Rancy Paris na kasi sya na line ngayon aside sa New York. Anyway my gown was 80k and hubby's suit was 25k way back 2013 yan thats the original quote. Though we had some kind of a discount pero secret nalang hehe depends din on the haggling skills. Ewan ko lang ngayon if nagtaas na nga ba talaga.
