Anyone here who really got to experience the Breast Crawl/Unang Yakap in St. Lukes? May I know who your OB is?

Meron bang OB sa ST. Lukes na nagaaccept ng intellicare for check ups?

^^ sis, I think SOP na sa St. Luke's ang Unang Yakap. Pagkapanganak ko, nilinisan muna nila si baby, then nilapit sa akin. Nilapag sa chest ko skin-to-skin, then pina-latch sa breasts. Naglick lang sya super sandali then iyak ulit, hehe..

^^oo sis, punta ka lang sa Intellicare office dun and you may ask them for the list of OB that they accredit.

Mga sis sino recommended OB nyo na di naman masyado mataas ang PF pero ok naman? Uuwi ako pinas kapag 7months na ako and planning to give birth sa St. Luke's Global. I don't have any HMO pero I have philhealth and sss. If meron kayo copy ng mga package ng SLMC pa-post naman mga sis, thank you!

Sis bagaholic_chewy nagpa bank ka ba ng cord ni baby? If magpapa stemcord/cordlife ba, pwede padin si DH ang mag cut ng cord?

^ nope, we decided not to do cord banking na e, after consulting doctor-friends and other new-mommy-friends.

Not sure if your hubby can still do the cutting kasi di ba me SOP re timing and procedure for cord-blood banking? Ask your OB na lang to be sure..

not yet sure kung kasama na ba ang room or prof fees palang. yun lang kasi yung binigay ng secretary ng OB namin.

My OB is Dra Peachy Ocampo at St Luke's Global City. I'm on my 24th week. This is my 2nd pregnancy (had a miscarriage 2 years before). I inquired about how much we should be preparing for delivery. Her secretary Ysa, sent this to  me - this is in the assumption that you wont avail or not eligible to avail the CARE package that they offer:

NSD:
Complicated:
Hospital Bills: 65k-70k
PF (depending on the room you availed):
   OB: 65k - 76k  (if you'll be in the birthing room and delivering via water birth - 100K)
   Anes: 40% of OB's PF
   Pedia: 20k - 25k

Uncomplicated:
Hospital Bills: 50k-65k
PF (depending on the room you availed):
   OB: 50k - 65k  (if you'll be in the birthing room and delivering via water birth - 70k - 80k)
   Anes: 40% of OB's PF
   Pedia: 10k - 15k

CSD:
Complicated:
Hospital Bills: 90k-120k
PF (depending on the room you availed):
   OB: 120k - 130k
   Anes: 40% of OB's PF
   Pedia: 20k - 25k

Uncomplicated:
Hospital Bills: 60k-90k
PF (depending on the room you availed):
   OB: 70k - 115k
   Anes: 40% of OB's PF
   Pedia: 10k - 15k

^Sis si dra peachy ba ay si dra elizabeth joan esguerra ocampo? sya din kasi OB ko. I guess sya nga kase ysa din ang secretary niya.

and yes unang yakap is SOP sa st.lukes. important daw yung skin to skin contact to establish breastfeeding. nung pinaglatch sya sakin no reaction haha wala man lang kahit lick. di na rin yata sya umiiyak nun confused siguro sa paligid niya. hehe. sobrang saya ng moment na yun.

When my baby came out he was cordcoiled and only cried a little kaya hindi si hubby ng cut ng cord ni baby kasi they were in a hurry to pass him to the pedia to make sure he is okay. I was sedated kasi plus the epid kaya na sedate din daw si baby. So may mga instances na hindi ma fofolow talaga yung unang yakap steps like waiting before cutting the cord. Pero pina latch siya sakin agad after checking up on him.

Wala akong complication sadya lang ayaw pa namin umuwi. Hahaha. I was allowed to go home Sunday, June 15. I was admitted June 12, 7:30PM. Gave birth June 13, 3:59AM.

Mura ng singil ng ob mo sis.

We roughly paid 120k induced nsd (with circumcision of my son at 10k)
My pedia pa was my ninang so she did not charge us her pf.

40k ob's pf
16k anes

^^ wow, mura nga PF ng Docs mo sis.. sa akin - OB was 60k, anes 28k yata.. tho CS ako.. uncomplicated CS naman.

May I know which room kinuha mo? Sabi kasi the PF, as well as the other hospital bills depend partly din sa type of room.. nag-iiba ang rate..
