^ I'm not sure though if it's hospital policy, or depende sa OB mo. Ako kasi I told my OB na feeling ko mas makakapush ako pag naka-recline. So sabi nya tingnan daw namin pag nasa actual na, whichever feels better for me daw.

Does the digital thermometer have to be brand new?  I have na here in our first aid kit pero hubby used it na before   Giving birth next week yeah yeah!

hi sisses anyone here under the care of dra.aguilar. im 24weeks na at pinapapapili na nya kami san ako manganganak, malapit kami sa SLMC bgc and PGH. quite apprehensive ako sa PGH, scared lang ako knowing government hospital sya feeling ko hindi kami maaalagaan compared sa private hospital. may packages ba ang SLMC for first timers? ang nababasa ko lang kasi puro for 2nd timers mommies.

@hakunamatata, package of SLMC does not apply for 1st delivery.  First delivery should be NSD to qualify for the package and the room is semi-private.  I think its around 80k

I agree the package applies for the 2nd delivery. I availed it actually. Super satisfied ako sa SLMC QC. Yung OB ko nag tip sakin na iavail yung package kasi her other patients daw ganun din and hindi naman daw madami nanganganak that time. And true enough kahit semi private yung room parang private na din. Ako lang kasi nag occuppy. Nagkaron pa tuloy ng tulugan yung bantay ko. Hehe.

The service wala akong ma reklamo. Last year my baby was confined due to viral pneumonia and just the same we felt safe hindi sya nakakatakot na hospital and the nurses mababait and helpful.

^  Is there no other promo?  I'm a bit OC and I don't think I would be comfortable without privacy.

I'm starting to think my OB is a bit overpriced.  Even my consultation were steep.  Had I not ask the nurse kung bakit ganun, 2100 kami parati.  Kahit hindi naman talaga ginamit yung ultrasound ng matagal, ginamit lang just to check heartbeat or position of the baby.  Oh well, I'm to give birth soon so no point in changing.

Hi mga sis, nagback read na ako about this pero wala pa kong nabasa if may nakaexperience na mismo not sure if I missed it lang anyway, my OB Dra. Jing Fernandez sa Global inaadvise nya ako magpackage. Just in case ba na hindi ko iaavail yung package, magkano roughly ang aabutin talaga iba iba kasi info nila kaya I want sana yung info na galing sa nakaexperience mismo sa Global. Someone said hospital bills wil be 60-90k then the pf follows syempre. Parang ang layo lang ng range nung 60k-90k, theres like 30k difference if ever. Parang small private ata yan.

^ not sure kung how much diff ng Global and QC. Pero same tayo ng OB. Sa QC ako nanganak though.. regular private room, CS. PF ni doc jing was 60k.. Total nagastos namin was about 155k.

Thank you sis. CS din ako. Sana wala na halos difference. Omay na din sa 155k. Sa Asian kasi ang quote ng OB ko doon 170k pwede pa umabot ng 200k. Sayang din naman.

i highly recommend dra judy ann uy-de luna.. super maalaga! I was induced kasi 40 weeks na di pa ko nagddilate, 10pm pa lang tinabihan na nya ko sa labor room.. 1cm pa lang ako, she's waiting for my cervix to dilate.. really appreciate yung hawak niya kamay ko while i was in labor.. so sweet.. then at 3:30am ayaw talaga no choice CS na ko.. imagine she was there the whole time.. akala ko kasi before mga ob ppnta lang pag manganganak na talaga.. pero hindi, siya talagang binantayan nya ko.. isa pa, wala ako sinabi kahit ano, pero bikini cut ako.. ganda nga ng tahi ko ngaun pag tinignan mo parang wala lang.. paglabas ni baby 7.8lbs siya kaya d daw talaga lalabas haha


regarding her PF, mura siya compared sa mga nababasa ko.. paid around 89k less philhealth na un INCLUDING all PFs and baby's hospital bill.. private room ako and stayed at the hosp for 4 days.. gusto ko din sakanya kasi before lumabas chneck muna niya hospital bills if lahat nagamit ba and she make sure na makatipid kami..

pati pala yung mga doctors na kasama niya highly recommended din. lahat maalaga.. dr saquing the anesthesiologist visited me kinabukasan assuring me na okay lang mga gamot na binigay ny.. dra alarcon yung pedia super maalaga! siya na pinupuntahan namin na pedia kasi bilis sumagot sa text lalo na first time mom ako.. she even calls me pag worried ako kay baby..

Note: I didnt give birth at st lukes, sa Pacific global ako sa mindanao ave kasi mas malapit samin pero lahat ng doctors ko galing st lukes.. sa st lukes din ako nagpapacheckup lagi.. i can say super sulit! pag sa st lukes pala when I asked her nasa around 140k daw pag CS.. mas mahal kasi equipments and rooms sa st lukes..

10pm ka ng start or 10am? Kasi if 10pm to 3am lang parang ang bilis to call for cs unless stuck ka sa 1cm all the while.

Ako 6 or 7am ng start ma induced and gave birth at 330pm

Sa mga sis who gave birth at st lukes qc, how long (from the day you gave birth) were you able to get the NSO birth certificate of your child. Gusto ko na kasi kuhanan ng passport baby ko plus i still have to report his birth at the us embassy and i need an NSO copy to be able to do that.

^ 9am pa lang nagstart na ko iinduce.. pero nag 1 cm ako around 6pm.. 10pm 1cm pa din..

Sis vain_kixie, magti-3mos this weekend si baby and kukuhanan ko na din sya ng passport. Wala pang NSO birth certificate, nag-try ako request (ayun, nabalewala yung bayad ko..).

But I already have a copy of her birth certificate, printed on security paper from the Local Civil Registry (QC), and it was authenticated (stamped) by NSO. If you're giving birth sa QC, madali lang kumuha sa City Hall kasi nasa isang building lang yung Local Civil Registry and yung naga-authenticate na taga-NSO. Yun daw pwede gamitin for passport application.

I am giving birth next year. Second baby. I must say, sulit si HRPU nung sa 1st baby ko. So I would like to have that room again. My OB is Dr Purugganan. Second Check up ko pa lang kahapon. Meron na ba syang nagnig patient din dito? Thank you!

You are also with Dra Gergen?  I was mistaken, as it turned out, I only settled around 129k for an elective CS.  Not bad kasi the whole time I thought 170k to 200k.  Luma lang talaga mga rooms and the couch where my hubby slept was broken pero natuto din kami and happy kami na room in ang set up.  Kasma na namin agad si baby.
