Favorite ko sa Wink! at sa Strip It! Okay ang service, mabilis gumawa, may pain pero marurunong.

First time ko to have Brazilian wax! Sabi sa akin nung receptionist recommended daw nila sa first-timers ang mag-take ng pain reliever 30 minutes before having the service done. Kaso naisip ko try ko muna without since medyo mataas naman pain tolerance ko. Ayun keri naman pala ;D medyo masakit lang yung malapit sa abdomen kasi may tahi ako dun due to CS section.

for the first few years, i've been going to Lay Bare, but since Barenaked opened up near our place, I've been coming to Barenaked a lot more, though at times i still go to Lay Bare. what i like about barenaked is that they do sugaring, and even if the hair is too short, there would be no problem at all, unlike in Lay Bare where there should be at least a length of hair before they would wax. and ever since i've started waxing/sugaring, i've noticed na manipis na [textspeak!] growth and mabagal na un growth ng hair. i only go for UA and brazilian, i use veet cream for my legs and arms.

then i saw on IG some selling sugar wax, and i wanted to try it, so i ordered, and will update you girls as soon as i've tried it. :)

mga sis.. gusto ko magtry ng brazilian wax.. Wala ba sa inyo gumamit ng topical anesthesia?
gusto ko sana.. :( Would applying lidocaine cream work? I'm trying to perfect the timing kase..
Dapat more than 5 days after sa last day sa period ko but not 5 days before period..take painkiller
beforehand.. trim muna.. what else to minimize pain? :(

same here. I usually go to Barenaked to get my brazilian, UA and legs done. but for my eyebrows and upper lip, I go for Laybare's threading method. Okay din yung DIY sugar wax, nakakatamad lang to wax myself. hehe!

I really like Nanny Rose and the cloth included in the kit. It saves me from having to go to a waxing salon.

True! And the small tub's good for 10 uses sa akin. Tipid pa and hindi ko na kailangan magbayad para masaktan. ;D

Curious din ako sa Nanny Rose. Madali lang gamitin? Para di ko na kailangan pumunta sa waxing salon for my UA and legs.

@pretty_B sa watsons sis. yung small tub P80+

@chuy - yup, heat lang sa microwave for 10 seconds (medium heat). sa microwave namin 7 seconds lang super liquid na sya. kelangan ko i-mix for a few mins para lumamig and maging sticky. tapos apply lang sa UA, then the strip, and pull! super effective. :)

^Yes sis buong tub, but remove the cap. Yes hot wax sya but hindi naman uncomfortable gamitin. For me wala difference sa cold wax. May kasama popsicle stick yung kit. Use it to apply the wax on the skin (apply according to direction of hair growth) and spread evenly. Tapos, apply the cloth strip on the skin, press firmly to make sure that the sugar sticks on the cloth, then rip the cloth opposite to the direction of hair growth. :)

Been going to Nailogy for about a year now to have my Brazillian done along with my mani pedi. OK din ang service, I had my first Brazillian there and hindi sya masakit and even if short ang hair keri lang. The attendant Ms "Purple" is very professional.

I'm using sugar waxing since last August. I discovered an online seller who sells honey cold wax and coffee cold wax with aloe soothing lotion (to be applied after waxing); No cloth strips needed. Super easy to use and easy to dissolve in water. Now they also have green tea flavor sugar wax and very affordable price :)
