new home na mga sis..

Ako, I am not eating rice since 2009 so already going to 5years ang hindi ko pagkain this coming Jan 2014. Ok naman hindi ako sobrang tumaba kahit walang excercise at the same hindi ako sobrang lumaki kahit kapapanganak ko lang last March 2013..

caveat din lang dun sa mga gusto rin mag "no rice diet"

even if you would remove rice from your diet, pero kung grabe or babawi ka naman kumain ng desserts, pasta, bread,
processed foods, fries etc. hindi ka pa rin papayat.

I'd like to inform everyone that RICE per se doesn't make you FAT, it's eating too much calories more than is required to maintain your weight is what makes you fat.
Some might ask why may mga kilala silang rice ang ang ineliminate sa diet e pumayat, e kasi siyempre ginaganahan
ka kumain ng marami kapag may rice, ang tendency mapaparami ka rin sa ulam ergo tataba ka

Granted na rice is one of the carbs na pinakamatagal tunawin, but your body sees a cup of rice only as

242 calories, 53g carbs, 4g protein, 0g fat and 0g sugar

while a krispy kreme glazed donut is:

190 calories, 21g carbs, 2g protein, 11g fat and 10g sugar

sad thing is, most people would prefer to eat the donut than the cup of rice tapos bitin kasi hindi nabusog kaya kukuha pa ulit ng isa or dalawa,
then they would complain of getting fat. ang nakita lang is mas mataas carb content ni donut, pero si 10g sugar dedma

andyan rin yung huwag kumain ng rice sa gabi kasi carbs daw, tataba ka raw kapag kumain ka bago matulog.
when in fact eating carbs at night helps you sleep better, hindi niyo ba napansin kung bakit inaantok ka after kumain
ng breakfast or lunch na may rice...it's because of carbs, so it's actually better to eat more at night and eat less during the day.
this way you wouldn't feel deprived and hungry bago matulog and it would be easier for you to keep track of the calories you're consuming.
it is also a good way to reward yourself by eating a good meal at the end of the day for controlling yourself from eating
a lot sa tanghali at hapon.

it's already 2013, marami nang myth na na-dispel when it comes to weight loss...do your research din :)

^Thanks for the info it was helpful but this is the diet that most fit me.. research is good but when it comes to diet depende rin sa tao may hindi effective sa iba..meron naman effective sa iba so it is case to case basis, in my case ang no rice and softdrinks and coffee ang effective sa akin so I lasted for 5years and I can say I am happy with the outcome.. ;)

yup, kanya kanya din talaga yan and ang importante is finding something that you could stick to

pinangungunahan ko lang yung iba na mahilig magrice but would eliminate it from their diet thinking
that is evil tapos magugutom and would binge on something else.

I bought a blender nga din hehe I shake for detox and also I tried lemon and cucumber sa water very refreshing din talaga. I like cucumber more than lemon kasi pag lemon parang nakakasakit ng toncil hehe..

i like your post bro. you know may kilala akong girl noon, grabe, diet daw siya to lose weight:

Breakfast: 1 donut. (grabe, yabang pa niya dun sa "1")
Lunch: 1 bottled juice (some times 2, the 2nd is mid afternoon)
Dinner: Lucky Me Lapaz Batchoy with Skyflakes.

hahaha...basura nga yung nutritive value nung diet niyang yun, in fairness when I plotted it in myfitnesspal
to simulate kung ano lalabas na values kung ganun kakainin ko for the day

1 krispy kreme original glazed donut
2 servings of tropicana orange juice (300 ml)
1 sky flakes pack (3 biscuits)
lucky me supreme la paz batchoy 65g

results were:  880 calories, 141g carbs, 17g protein, 27g fat, 1140mg sodium

technically papayat ka dapat sa diet na 'to, pero kung aaraw arawin mo 'to this is really not sustainable since you would be eating too few calories and
would put your body into starvation mode since a person should at least be consuming a bare minimum of 1200 calories, yung nutrition din na kelangan hindi mamemeet kasi puro junk food
and would put your body at risk.

from a common sense and "clean eating" point of view, this type of diet is really unhealthy and wouldn't let you meet your
goals. it is a shitty diet at hindi ka pa satiated...dami mo na pwede kainin sa 880 calories na nakakabusog


however if she would be following "flexible dieting" or "If It Fits Your Macros" SOME DAYS pwede siyang kumain ng ganito
and would still be able to hit here macros (macronutrients - carbs, protein, fat, fibre) for the day, kulang na lang ng let's say 200g of roasted chicken breast...abot na siya sa 1200 calories.
that's the beauty of "IIFYM" even if you eat junk foods or fast food, as long as your macros are reached then there's no problem,
since hindi mo rin naman mamemeet ng maayos yung macros na yun if lahat junk foods kasi mageexceed ka na (sa fat or carbs) even before you reach your
daily calorie goal. IIFYM suggests eating 80% clean and 20% of whatever you want, makes losing weight and making gains so much easier.

lead to weight loss. it's all about calorie deficit lang talaga

I cant go without rice rin.  So what I would try is drinking warm water pea maayos ang digestion and Hindi magstore ng fat dahilsa mga kinakain

trouble is, inaraw araw niya yun. plus ang taas ng sodium and sugar. it really is junk. one way or another it will hit her. siya pa galit ng sinabihan. "hay nako noh.."

as long as okay pa ang katawan, eating healthy foods, or junk food once in a while, hitting the macros, etc, its all good...

but once magkasakit, yung sakit na inaalagaan,

game changer na yun...

very specific na ang diet. may meds pa...

and some healthy foods hindi na pwede...
