dr nadela.  He is in the academe so I know that I was in good hands.  My braces are already taken out, and my teeth are symmetrical.  How did you know your brackets look cheap?
Who was your former ortho?

Also, mapanga kasi ako. And I read here na naeemphasize daw panga pag naka-braces, natakot naman ako haha. Is this always the case?

Case to case sis :-)
If may something sa teeth mo kaya mejo malaki ang jaw may mag ibat ibang procedures silang ginagawa.

after researching i think i'll choose Dr. Nadela na. I want lingual braces. siguro kahit sa baba regular braces lang pero sa taas ayoko kita.  alam ko kasi 50 k down-payment, or 50% ng total and down and then 10% nung down payment every month na. pwede ba credit card sometimes dun???

same here sis. mag 2 years na braces ko this april and gusto na nyang tanggalin yung braces ko, pero sabi ko hindi pa okay yung bite. hello, hindi ba nya nakikita na hindi pa nya na-fix yung overbite ko? kalurkey. i'll switch dentists talaga pag okay na budget ko, even if i have to spend more.

Saan po ba pwede mag patanggal ng brackets? Super tagal na ng braces ko, yung ibang brackets natanggal na. Because of financial problems back then, hindi na ako naka visit sa dentist ko. Now lang ulit papatanggal ko na sana mga natirang brackets. Any idea how much po mag patanggal ng brackets? QC area po sana.

3rd day na ang upper metal braces ko, next appointment bunot naman at pasta.. Bakit kaya after cleaning kabit agad di muna ako pinastahan and binunutan.. Medyo masakit padin pero keri lang, sana lang wag na tumuloy ang sores na ito  .. My ortho is very jolly and understanding, super makwento di ako masyado nailang sa kanya.. She charged me 45k upper and lower na, dp of 7500. Hirap lang schedule niya, super dami kasi pasyente.. So far okay pa naman nakakakain pa ng normal, goodluck nalang next week pag nabunutan, ouch!

Hello! Im  newbie in this thread. May alam ba kayong dental clinic na below 8k land yung down with inclusions na like pasta and prophylaxis? Im planning to visit Echano Clinic kaso medyo malayo sa place ko. Im from san mateo, rizal pa kasi. Magkano kaya package for metal braces? Please help. thanks

forgot ko lang name nung clinic pero madami sila patient kasi affordable talaga sila.

Ako suki na ng braces..  Yung una ko when iw as 14 which i wore for four years.. Kala ko okay na pero ang resulta niya is tmj.. Nalaman ko lang ng napansin ng tita ko tapos dinala ko sa dentist niya.. Kaya pala may clicking, misalignment daw kasi binunutan ako ng 4 na molars which is hindi dapat so sige brace ulit at splint.. After a year, tanggal brace, andun pa in clicking, eto naman si dentist nagsingapore na so wala na ko habol.. Until i finally went to dra. Claudz, tmj na lumala na dahil sa two previous dentists ko..

I was on splint then ngayon second phase ko na which is braces.. I chose ceramic instead of metal, nasusugatan kasi ko.. Hopefully last time ko na to magbbrace.,

Im telling my story para mawarningan kayo na go to a reputable ortho not just a dentist.. Orthos specialize in these and get second, third or fourth opinions.. Don't go to a dentist that offers braces for a cheap price, it's very tempting pero in the long run baka ikaw din ang magkaproblema..

May mga nakasabay nako na ptients ni doc claudz na nagkaroon ng tmj because of misalignment caused by poorly installed braces.. Just a warning kasi ako lesson learned na talaga sa dami ng ginastos ko..

I have personally seen patients na nagka TMj-d because of bad ortho. Having TMJ-d is not only about clicking, it causes a lot of pain from head til neck sometimes even back. While its tempting that low prices are in the market, iba iba ang quality ng work, materials and qualifications. In the end patient suffers kung napunta sa di ok na ortho. When you find an ortho, make sure sya ang maghahandle ng case nyo from beginning til end, nowadays ive heard a lot of "business" practice, na sila ang magkakabit the adjustments will be done by newly graduates. These clinics usually offer low prices, low downpayments, freebies etc. to attract patients..

Make sure you research on your dentists, finished cases, talk to current patients, go for second, third opinion before making a choice. Don't just settle for the cheapest option. Mas magastos pag paulit ulit. Wasted time, effort and money.

had may braces na hindi na inexray kasi tumubo na daw yung lahat ng wisdom tooth ko binunutan din ako sa upper teeth ko isa muna pero dalawa daw ibubunot nalungkot ako kasi ayoko sana baka kaya kung isa lang bunutin next week naman lalagyan yung lower teeth ko.

I'm currently on my 7th month sa braces... naka-apat na palit na si ortho ng wire ng ng braces ko. Four teeth ang ni-extract Lang July to give ample space sa crowded teeth at dahil na rin lumabas sa X-Ray na nag start na masira ang mga teeth. As of now, start na kami ng power chain to close the gap between the teeth, though nilagay pa Lang ni doc sa mga hooks. Nyahahaha!!! Nababasa ko Lang Kung gano kasakit ang power chain. Hopefully, maging 2-3days Lang ang sakit na Ito kasi I'm pregnant din. And I need to eat in small meals din.
I'm currently happy sa progress ng teeth ko and sa attention ng specialist na nag-handle. I agree with @dr.smile... research, read blogs Kung meron, seek for 2nd opinion as possible Kung saan ka talaga ma-satisfy. More importantly, dapat komportable sa orthodontist na nag-handle and [textspeak!] appointment sundin talaga. Every 5weeks nagkikita talaga kami ni doc to do all updates.  just sharing Lang po....

Mag 1 year na braces ko, so far super satisfied naman ako.. Ang case ng ngipin ko nasa likod ng front teeth ko yung left canine ko, ngayon nakalabas na siya at aligned na  finally after 2 months na may spring coil na everytime inaadjust e masakit din naman talaga, natapos na siya! 2 months nako naka elastics, mahirap sa una pero nasanay nako na kahit kumakain e hindi ko na inaalis  . Ang bilis nga ng mga pangyayare, parang kailan lang e napakapangit ng teeth ko, ngayon aligned na talaga siya. Sabi ng ortho ko mabilis daw talaga ang galaw pag every two weeks ang adjustment. Buti nalang nagtyaga ako at nakinig sa kanya... Next visit, reposition ang gagawin,  kinakabahan ako, diko kase naitanong kung ano yun naaliw ako masyado sa kwento ng ortho ko nalimutan ko tuloy itanong. Just sharing lang din po

My ortho's advice nman is to have adjustments at least every 3 weeks din, pero as of now kinoclose yun gap sa upper teeth q full month daw kasi baka magkaroon ng infection, hopefully maging mabilis galaw, mahirap me activator and elastics at the same time.

Braces removal cost 1500. Usually, after removal of braces you need to wear retainer. So you might want to consider the cost of retainer installation.
