I'm adjusting pa sa medschool pero nag eenjoy ako buti na lang i know my body clock at i know when to rest.. I'm not ok pag puyat, so i make sure i sleep early and wake up early.. Sana makayanan ko some of the people I know, especially the good ones, they're quitting

For so long, I've lurked in these forums and reading this thread or something with a similar title. Grabe, from pre-med, to med, to internship, to boards, to pre-res! This year sort of rounded off the first part of training; passing the boards, finishing pre-residency, and moonlighting while waiting for the residency results.  Am going to start my residency on December. Everything, as in everything I've been through, was worth it.

I know what you mean.  If I back read ill probably come across posts about pacing USMLE steps, Philippine boards, pre res, US residency matching, getting into a residency program in the US and now in my final year of training applying for a fellowship.  Time flies, soon it will be job hunting and choosing a practice type.

well we also have to put into consideration that this is ateneo's first board exam and the pressure is on them. this will either make or break the baby medschool. so more or less todo focus ateneo sa mga takers nila.

Hi po! Nakatapos na din ako ng 1 year sa medschool and i can say super enjoy ako sa medschool pero ang daming pag hihirap din sa pag aaral. I am somehow bitter now dahil ang baba ng grades ko than what i am expecting especially sa histology! Di na daw pwede magcomplain since narelease na online yung grades but i am thankful na lang na pasado lahat. I just hope regular ako all the way because ayoko madelay gumraduate.. Mahirap daw 2nd year

^congrats sis!:) 2nd year is a lot tougher than 1st year. Say hello to killer Ps, Pedia, Pharma, Patho! Do not be complacent porque mataas na un grades mo nun 1st sem. Remember my story? I got too complacent with Patho dahil mataas ako dun nun 1st sem, 2nd sem, bumaba para pero kaya pa naman. dahil sa takot ako sa pharma, puro yun ang inaral ko kaya i flunked the final exams ng Patho (all i need to do to pass patho is to pass the final exam) kaya nag removals ako sa patho. then come removals, i flunked the exam by just 5 points short from the passing level. oh well. lesson learned
