Guys, please help. Balak ko magapply ng tourist visa next week.  I have a boyfriend living in Brisbane and he sent me his scanned driver's license, invitation letter at yung bank details nya na worth $2,500 dollars. I'll stay in his place for about 3 weeks. I am a student, graduating in March, pero makakakuha pa rin ako ng certificate of enrollment. I have money in the bank, P77,000 at yun lang ang kaya ko ibigay na financial documents. I don't own anything. We don't have lands and stuff like that. So ang meron lang ako ay ang mga documents ng boyfriend ko at yung school enrollment at yung bank statement for the amount above. Ano sa tingin nyo?

Also, baka mas maganda na kumuha nalang ako ng student visa para sa master's degree.

Kung tuition fee at visa fee lang ang kailangan, baka mas madali para sakin. Ano sa tingin nyo? At magkano ba ang partial tuition fee na kailangan ibigay usually? Pwede naman mag-work dun habang nag-aaral di ba para sa pambayad?

Hi everyone.

We're planning to apply for State Nomination with hubby as principal applicant. I'm his only dependent and kasama po sa SOL ang occupation ni hubby. Pwede po siya sa 6 states pero di po namin alam which one to choose. It would be nice to hear something from our sisses here esp from a Pinoy's perspective on  which states has the low cost of living,  healthcare & climate, taxes and friendlier to migrants. Would appreciate your feedback on the following states:

Western Aus
Victoria
South Aus
Queensland
New South Wales
Northern Territory

Pwede rin po malaman ang advantage and disadvantages ng visa type 176 or 175 ....

176 or 175... ang advantage ng 175, you can live & work in any state. sa 176, tied down ka sa sponsoring state mo for 2 years. though, after that naman, pwede ka na rin lumipat ng ibang state. they call it, moral obligation naman. kumbaga sa words natin, utang na loob... hehe.

now, on how to choose states.. first, yung mga states, may sari-sarili ring list. maybe, pasok nga sa SOL yung occupation ni hubby mo. pero need mo rin i-consult yung list ng mga states. pwede kasing wala dun. so, mati-trimmed down mo yung choices mo dito pa lang.

halimbawa naman, pasok pa rin sa list ng lahat ng states yung occupation nya... base ka naman sa cost of living.. etc... yung mga nasa Oz naman ang makakasagot na dyan. hehe.

Hi mga sis may nakausap ako na agency. Sila magalalakad ng visa for state sponsored pero after mo makapasa ng ielts need mo magdown kagad ng para pambayad for assessing bodies. Bale need mo ng 250k lahat para magrant ka ng PR. Pero refundable naman daw pag nagbackout ka. Worth it ba un mga sis? Pag ikaw mismo naglakad magkano ba aabutin lahat2 thanks! Given na state sponsored yung aaplayan mo?

this is too much sis. why not try to apply it on your own? GT ka, i'm sure matiyaga ka magbasa. reading the Aus website is not that difficult. mag-member ka lang sa Australian-Pinoy forum for questions and i'm sure you will get it done.

nagastos lang yata namin last 2009 eh 100K+ kasama na IELTS, medical.. tumaas na alright, but more than 100%?! sobra naman yata yun.

ok lang kaya na magpa assess muna bago mag IELTS?

normally, isa sa hinahanap yung IELTS ng assessing body. kaya mag-IELTS ka muna. anyway, you will still take that exam naman later on. why not, mag-take ka na ngayon para bawas na sa intindihin mo, di ba.

My ex-bff in Perth is pessimistic about our plans. Instead of supporting us, nananakot pa na dami nale-lay off and marami daw undesirable reptiles dun. She might be telling the truth pero parang nafi-feel ko lang na she doesn't want us to go to Oz. Yung isang bff ko naman who used to stay in Sydney encourages us to proceed with the application. Sana other sisses here from Oz can share their experience in their current states.

Nagpa-assess muna ako before taking IELTS. Di pa kase ako ready to take IELTS since I need to review pa.
Sa ACS ako nagpa-assess and wala naman sa requirements yung IELTS based sa pagkakabasa ko sa website. Di kaya nila ako hanapan?
And it will take 12 weeks daw before ma-complete yung assessment. I'm targeting before that time comes I'm done with my IELTS exam.

weee! nakakatuwa, ngayon ko lang nakita tong thread na to. anyway, im a nurse, planning to go to australia. well wala pa ko nasisimulan sa totoo lang. i was praying desperately last week then i saw a thread about australia for filipino nurses.

i called up IDP makati this morn, and tom ang orientation ko sa kanila. re ielts, pag nakausap ko na sila tom tsaka ko na pproblemahin.

i've read na mas ok kung ikaw na mag asikaso ng reqts, for filipino nurses kasi, student visa then bridging program, kung wala exp, i think it's the conversion program. ok naman na ko kasi may mga nakausap akong friends na andun na kaya medyo naliliwanagan na ko. they shelled out at least 100k exclusive pa tuition. at dun ako magkakaproblema pag nagkataon. ang mahal ng tuition for the bridging program, since i have experience naman, so i'm planning to ask financial assistance na lang din doon sa nagtulong sa kanila. nagpapa loan yung consultancy, payable in 2yrs, with 3.8% interest, i know malaki pero wala naman ako magagawa. kung gusto ko talaga makaalis, kailangan kumayod ng husto para makabayad utang. nag inquire ako sa bank almost the same intereset din and with collateral pa. so i think, sa consultancy na lang talaga ko mag loan.

if and ever matuloy talaga ko by God's will, gusto ko sana sa rural mapunta para hindi masyado magastos and mahal unlike sa urban. ask ko lang san ba ok?after ko mag BP at aussie nurse na, tsaka ko na isipin kung mag relocate pa ko sa urban.

ask ko lang din, is it true, wala na show money for student visa?

Im a 3rd year student visa now here in Darwin, NT Australia. So far so good. Surviving naman. Thanks god. My kasamahan ako sa work kinuha nya yung niece nya nursing course din, wala daw show money na ni require sa kanya. Ang binayaran lang nya ay tuition fee for the 1st semester which cost $9k, oshc health insurance, visa fee, ielts at airfare lang nya.
