Anybody familiar with spouse visa?  i am married to a [textspeak!]-ausie with a australian citizenship, and we're applying for  one, but very confused with the system.

Any one familiar on how much should his bank account be to be eligible for sponsorship? any particulars or any details. we are both very confused!

Student visa ako, please refer to below ganito yung nging process ko 

1. decide on your course
2. choose your school, including course pre requisites etc.
3. gather all docs ex, IELTS, diploma, TOR etc
3. apply sa school
4. they will write you an offer letter
5. accept the offer by paying the partial tuition fee.
6. after that they will email the eCOE (certificate of enrollment)
7. gather all docs needed to apply for visa in Au embassy in Manila in my case I called their hotline and arranged for a pick up
8. requested for medical ( if makarating ka sa step na to medyo positive na maaprove yung visa, depende na lang sa results ng medical)
9. embassy requested passport for visa stamping

there sis, hope that helps, in my case hinde na ako dumaan sa IDP kasi kaya nman basta okay yung mga docs mo, by the way I'll be taking my Masters in Au. if you have further questions ask away lang i'll be more than happy to answer.

hello everyone. visa granted today. mixed emotions talaga, expected ko kasi late this year pa. nagmedical kami ni husband last december lang. wala pa kaming final na napiling puntahan. we're thinking of melbourne. sa mga sis na nasa melbourne, ok po ba ang accounting profession dyan. anong month po ok pumunta? pease give us suggestions/ideas. TIA!

Well, since you're married to an Aussie, I think bank accounts doesn't count much.

Instead you have send proof of your relationship.

Hi mga sis may nakausap ako na agency. Sila magalalakad ng visa for state sponsored pero after mo makapasa ng ielts need mo magdown kagad ng para pambayad for assessing bodies. Bale need mo ng 250k lahat para magrant ka ng PR. Pero refundable naman daw pag nagbackout ka. Worth it ba un mga sis? Pag ikaw mismo naglakad magkano ba aabutin lahat2 thanks! Given na state sponsored yung aaplayan mo?

wow ang mahal!! if i were you magapply ka magisa, ang aplication naman eh online lahat, so alam mo kung magkano ang iyong babayaran...first they need to assess your qualification, kaya pumunta ka sa website ng assessing body mo they icomplete mo ang mga qualifications nila, after than when you pass pede kna magapply for state migration...

Mga sis makakaahabol pa ba kmi before july 2012. march first week kami ielts exam tapos mga end of march siguro result noon. Then magpapasa kami for assessment etc.
Magkano kaya kung state sponsored visa 176 yung iaapply namin?Thanks

Hi sis, bale 9 months Lang. Nag lodge kasi kami for visa April 2011, dumating request for medical november, pero mid december na kami nagpamedical. Nag follow up ako sa clinic kelan pinadala result, 2nd week January na, kaya di ko talaga expect na darating na kagad ang visa. Mabilis na siguro talaga ngayon. Super thankful kami ni hubby, yun nga Lang cramming kami.

Anyone from Melbourne pls, San ba Medyo affordable ang accommodation? Thanks!

and a LOT of documents like financial records, evidence of work experiences, birth and marriage certificates, NBI clearance, photos, etc. of the primary applicant (pero in my case, nagpa-assess din kasi ako ng skills para pandagdag sa points kaya kahit dependent lang ako, inasikaso ko rin yang mga yan)

sana umabot pa kayo sis before mag-july, kasi di maiiwasan minsan na may made-delay dyan.

PS. sa amin more than 1 year kasi kami nag-asikaso e, nahirapan kasi kami abutin yung points.. baka iba naman yung case nyo sis at baka umabot kayo before mag-july. all the best!

P250K is very expensive! Very straight forward naman ng visa application for state sponsorship, if you don't get state sponsorship, ndi ka naman kelangan mag-shell out agad ng 250K. You will need at least AU$600 to get the skills assessment and IELTS, minimum requirement to be able to apply for state sponsorship.
You might want to check my blog post regarding my visa journey. I was on state sponsored visa before. There are changes to the policies and laws though after I've written my article in April 2009 so it is best to read the immigration website and read everything at least twice for better understanding.
