This is also one of my reasons why I plan to resign with my current job. Most of my colleagues are "sipsip" to our boss and "plastics". I couldn't stand those kinds of people. Also, one of my friends in the office is sort of cheating with our work. The bosses thought she's doing really well because of hard work. But actually, she's been cheating that's why she's getting good results and apparently promoted. I hope if ever I'll be getting another job, I won't be facing those kinds of people anymore. Or if ever there will be like them again, make sure I won't notice.

^sis, hindi talaga maiiwasan ang mga ganyang tao, specially when it comes to work. you just have to be tough, immune to their monkey businesses and do your best in your craft. if it doesn't work out, maybe you really need to find another job where you will appreciate or notice the good stuff more than the bad.

i think of resigning. kung dati kasi major stressor sakin ang mga ka workmate ko, ngayon naman yung mismong work. di na kasi kinakaya ng katawan ko, yung tipong hanggang bahay namin nagtatrabho pa rin ako. if hindi naman, yung isip ko palaging work related pa rin. but i'm still in the state of dilemma, dahil nag aalala na rin ako sa sarili ko, at my age i still don't have a stable job. dahil parang ang choosy ko. but i can't do anything about it. these factors affect me tremendously, so i have this attitude na although wala pang kapalit nagreresign kagad. but now, i'm taking it to consideration muna. but what can you say? right now naguguluhan na ko, ang daming tumatakbo sa isip ko if i finally submit that letter.

^ay naku sis, opposite naman tayo ngayon ako naman ang problema ko sa work ko mga workmates na chismosa, inggitera, backstabber, immature! nakakaloka! sumasakit ulo ko sa kanila. dito sa company ko lang na to naka meet ng mga ganitong klaseng tao sa mga past company ko naman mga well-mannered ang mga employees at mababait pero ewan ko ba dito! nakakatamad pumasok pag ganito ang work environment mo. before naman nag resigned ako sa work dahil sa workload halos gumapang ako pauwi sa pagod and stress! dito naman emotionally ako stress, ang hirap magtiwala sa mga tao dito yung bff ko dito sa office worst enemy ko na ngayon kakaloka lang! at dahil sa ginawa niya sakin nag reklamo na ko sa boss ko at binigyan ko siya ng options, ite either ilipat niya ko ng department o mag reresign na lang ako, eh ayaw niya ko mag resign sabi niya mag hintay lang daw muna ko para malipat sa iba nanghihinayang din kasi ko kasi ang lapit lang nito sa samin isang tumbling lang nasa office na ko, pero still let's see what will happen...

TS, At least you are no longer part of that company. Whether their "monkey business" is still active or not, be glad you dont need to deal with that kind of people anymore. forget it, your conscience is clear so you dont have to feel bad about your ex company. imo!

In my case, since i dont know which thread will i chose to post it over. I am afraid, i will be leaving my job, this current one because of our Team Leader. below is the catch, sorry for the long post.

Been here for almost 9 mos, its a company where our business revolves in cargo and transportation. I was hired for a position that differs with my first job but i accepted it since i need money for living. we are all, Project coordinators accepting cargoes from e.g Malaysia to Belgium, the cargo is not here in the philippines. mostly, i handle all shipment from Malaysia. We are 8 in the group, handling different projects from various clients. Our TL is designated on recalling shipments data, updating shipment information if it has departed or arrived at the destination. My problem here is, since i handle all the shipment ex/to Malaysia i am the sole in-charge for the updating and all, but this TL of ours are kind of pakilamero. He does tracking unupdated shipments and update it on our system. I should be thankful alright but the thing is, it is not his job. it is not his, he should tell me that HE has done updating it. for Respect at least, but he isn't. confronted this matter already with him and addressed my concerns but i think. He is not getting what i am trying to tell him, in TAGALOG. each of us are responsible for our job but i dont think he is respecting that fact. my patience are very loooongggggg since i do understand people and in the industry where we were, patience is a must. but he is pushing me to the limit, i dont understand why he is doing this to me. to pester me? he has been tracking all my shipments but with our colleagues no. His focus is only my shipment because he knows i wont be that mad unlike our colleagues who are furious whenever he will steal a shipment.

My question, should i address this matter to our Manager soon or resign? i cant take it already.

As for T/S --  spill the beans. If you are scared about possible repercussions, give the info anonymously.  Provide specifics. See it is the Boss that gets your letter.

^In our case, most if not probably he will side on our TL (since, he is the only "probationary" employee on our team) case like this doesnt happen regulary on my colleagues because they are brave enough to make parinig, i am not on that level that is why I took the courage to ask him why he is doing that without telling me at least, he is giving me unreasonable reasons. He told my colleagues before that for Seafreight shipments once pre-alerts has been sent out to our end,  It is "OKAY" daw to update it "Later" tapos now he is telling me that "IT" should be updated immediately when we are just relying on the Pre-alerts, what He is doing is, getting all the unupdated shipments on our system tracker and update it on to one of our systems. for me, He is stealing my work. I am just new here that's why i dont know whom to tell it,  I am sorry if this is confusing, i just dont know where to open up. Thanks sis aquacharly

ang hirap makahanap ng yaya na magstay talaga. palaging umaalis at walang naiiwan aa anak ko LWOP na din ako. wala din ako mapagiiwanan kay baby. the only reason why I stay is because of my loans na I think pwede naman pakiusapan. kasi if I will stay, aabsent at aabsent din ako.

I'm starting my laundry shop. kaya siguro by next week magfile na ko ng letter.

pwede ba na immediately ang effectivity ng resignation? in my case kasi walang maiiwan talaga sa baby ko and ayoko malayo si baby lalo na may sakit ngayon.

Same here. I wasn't able to please my boss and teammates. Mahirap maging newbie pag meron ng established "bad" culture. Nagresign na nga ako, may maninira pa rin. I just want to leave with dignity. I Didn't realize just how stressed I am with them until I missed my monthly period.
Nadagdagan pa tuloy ako ng worry about my health.

We can never ever please people, but the best option?? go with the flow.. Of course this applies to "some" instances ha...  pag sinaling ka eh ibang usapan na yon...

I also have problems with the people i am working with, control lang talaga as in.. at the end of the day kahit gaano ako napeste nila, naghahanap ako ng outlet. iniisip ko nalang din, i am not here to find trouble but to earn money for a living. just as simple as that...

Sabi nun barkada, they are everywhere. Giving up is not the best IDEA.. Either you'll let them IN on your system or PLAY with them..

It's so hard to decide.
I want to resign kasi kahit saan ako lumingon e wala talaga growth sa company namin ngayon.
Parang mali kasi yung path na tinahak ko. hahaha
The only reason why I stay is because gamay ko na yung work ko sa no stress at all, madali mag absent lalo na ngayon na wala kaming yaya and ok yung HMO namin.
Kaso, dahil wala ngang growth e expect ko narin na wala naring increase kahit 5 years na ako dito. =(

Due to some health problems.

The company is so generous in terms of the compensation and benefits, but unfortunately I just had to let go. Night shift work, apparently, is not for me because of my asthma. Pero nakakapanghinayang talaga kasi alagang-alaga ang mga empleyado dun.

Several reasons:
1. Nung time na yun medyo napabayaan yung employees. Kasi sobrang ikli ng time na ina-alot para sa projects na pag tinignan mo yung schedule parang hindi na matutulog/magpapahinga yung mga tao. Although I did not experience this firsthand, I didn't want to, so I left.
2. Karamihan ng projects offshore work. So sobrang exposed sa clients.
3. Abuso yung ibang clients.
4. Nagsimula na yung project kahit na hindi pa signed off yung requirements. Worse, they allow open-ended requirements.
5. Project manager na lost.
6. Retooling pag kulang sa tao.
7. Low salary.

I left kasi di na ako masaya and I want to focus sa kids ko. I resigned ng 2009, started my online shop na until now eh okay pa rin. Tapos ngayon i have a full time homebased job pa. Di ko na maimagine sarili ko going through all the hassle ng byahe papuntang trabaho.
