I've heard of Happy Hearts at Rockwell Club and Learning is Fun preschool in Poblacion but haven't found any feedback about these 2 preschools yet.

Saw the location of St. Michael's playhouse through the Indigo baby website.
They had an open house pala last night. Would have been nice kasi it's quite near my parents' house kaya lang whole day pala siya.
I'm looking for a preschool na around 2 to 3 hours lang...

doc.... they have a 4 day and 3 day program, and you can choose if half day or whole day... half day is from 8:30-12NN and it's that long kasi they prepare their own snacks, play either outside or in the sandbox, read stories and eat (morning snack and lunch)

no academics ang waldorf so it's really doing, playing, learning routines at home (like wash dishes, clothes, haha)... pag afternoon, they bake...

they don't play with dough/play dough but beeswax... organic food ang served...they learn to knit, they do art... haha (sensya, nae-excite ako, I plan to be a omeschooling mom kasi and this is just what I was looking for, socialization w/o academics)

Napapansin ko sa Taguig karamihan puro International Schools at grabe super mahal ng tuition nila, 300k average per year!

Ano ba advantage ng international school over non international ones? Except of course accredited yung mga studied subjects mo sa ibang bansa kaya primarily for expats yan.

Pero pagdating ba sa turo mas ok ba sila? Yes I know it still depends on the kid but we cannot deny that school does play a factor.

Oh, that's good if they have a 3 day and 4 day program. Sayang, I learned about the open house 1 day late. It would have been nice to learn more about the Waldorf way of teaching.
If it's mostly play, would you know if they incorporate some form of lessons on handwriting? Baka kasi mahirapan ang son ko pag lipat sa big school if walang handwriting lessons.
I wish I can do formal homeschooling, too. I've been teaching my son during my free time, so he knows the basic stuff like he can read the words in his books, letters, colors, shapes, numbers, etc. Kulang lang sa handwriting and socialization skills.
Would you know how many kids they accept and how much are their fees?

naku sis...wala ding handwriting... art lang talaga... to promote hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination, there's sports and the chores (like they use real plates and glass which the child  will learn to handle, they knit, etc)

wala sila talagang 5-day program kasi Mondays are for the parent-child program (for kids 3 yrs and below) where it's really the parent taught how to let the child develop...

yung 4-day program na half day from June-Oct is P48k... yung 3-day na half day is P40k... steep, I know, para kasi silang Montessori nga, hehe

not sure how many kids they accept... siguro max of 20 kasi maliit lang din yung space

my 5yo daughter is Junior Casa 1 at Integrated Montessori Center along Bayani Rd... i really like this school... ang galing nila magturo sa bata... teachers are nice too..

JC1 tuition is at 47k...

then they have JC2 then Advance Casa which is their Prep...

they also have grade school which is inside AFPOVAI subdivision...

they have several campus... meron din sa guadalupe and california gardens, mandaluyong...

leletmd.... sa parent-child program pala 10 kids... sa day care, they have 7 lang daw ata... maliit kasi yung place so there has to be enough room for them to move about


we had a trial class kanina.... my son loved the sandbox time, ayaw umalis

actually bayani rd is inside ft. bonifacio pero taguig city part na siya... parallel siya with mckinley hills... it's just close to forbes...

additional info:
- they have montessori tools
- my daughter can now read and analyze paragraphs
- knows ordinals, addition, subtraction, hours, money denomination
- continents, land and water formation, parts of animals, human body
- they have fun activities at school wherein parents are involved
- i can say super sulit talaga yung tuition fee
