^ tama! kaya dapat iwasan ang madalas na late and absences. negative talaga impact nyan kahit na magaling ka.

question ulet mga sis, i am currently sending applications sa mga company. then, yung isa sa mga napasahan ko requires me to come on monday for an interview and exam. unfortunately i couldn't come kase i've been absent dito sa previous company ko for a week dahil nagkasakit ako. so i asked for a resched of the said appointment but i didn't get a reply. ganun ba talaga mga sis, pag me trabaho ka hindi ka masyadong binibigyan ng chance or di ka priority? dapat ba umalis muna bago mag apply? kase parang walang nagbibigay pansin kapag di pa umaalis sa work eh. i just fear, like most of you said here na mabakante. hay...

hi penguinmichi: kung iisa-isahin natin lahat ng kailangan mong unahin here at this thread, aabutin tayo ng ilang pages. LOL. seriously, if you have the budget, hire ka na lang ng HR consultant to help you out. kahit for 1 month lang, or may mga consultants na per project naman. then once you've started, tama si miss resilient, hire ka ng kahit fresh grad who can do the daily clerical work, since ikaw naman ang in - charge.

@ penguinmichi - the first thing you should do is read about HR.  If small lang ang company nyo, you could start by organizing your employees files, check with gov't institutions for statutory deductions and benefits.  Payroll computation will depend on these deductions, benefits and obligation.  Also, try to network with seasoned HR practitioners or call PMAP.  Mababait mga tao dun and they will help you.

Mga sis, this is a bit OT but I cannot find a more appropriate thread where I can ask and gather reliable info and answer to my question.

I have a dilemma: to accept or not to accept  job offer because it's a contractual position and I will be hired through an agency daw.  I don't know what agency because it was the company who contacted me for this job.  Anyway, I'm thinking, I'll accept the job and then resign when a better opportunity comes. My problem is: given a contract, can I resign within the contract period?  Is this okay, possible, legal?  Will there be penalties?

Thanks in advance.

It depends on what is stated in your contract. Normally, yes, you may still resign, provided that you follow the prescribed lead time for notification.

^ Thanks, health.gal.

I haven't seen the contract yet kasi and the HR won't let me have a peek at it unless I say yes to their offer.  Eh what if I say yes, then go their office and sign the contract only to read something that I won't like?  Will it be acceptable that I don't sign the contract and consequently, decline on the spot the job offer I have already accepted?

Hindi ba ang yabang ko naman pag ginawa ko ito?  :(

No, I don't think its "kayabangan". It actually is your RIGHT to know whats in the contract before deciding whether you'll accept the offer or not. Technically, as long as you didn't sign anything, then, you haven't accepted any job offer yet.

wow dame HR dito..heheehe

help po! i need your opinions as HR

may chance ba na matanggal
so what's the best thing to do mga sis na HR??
pag sinabe mo namang nag AWOL ka hindi ka na nila ipapasa?
