@ eich - when you write your resume, you do not mention the reason why you left the company, just write the end date of your employment.  If during the interview, tinanong ka, do not lie but don't say nag AWOL ka.  You have to phrase it in a way na hindi lalabas ang word na AWOL.  This is a very negative term.  AWOL could mean that you are not reliable and trustworthy, or worse, this could mean that you have done a grave offense and too coward to owe it.

If they ask you why you left the company, say you got another offer, or you need to attend to something very urgent, or your looking for better opportunities BUT never lie.  Very few recruiters would ask how you terminated your employment contract with your previous employers.  But when categorically asked if you went AWOL, admit it, then say your reason.

@pressany 1 month lang ako sa company..do i need to include that sa resume ko?
i really need to attend to something important that time..ayaw ako payagan ng company
kahit urgent kaya na terminate ako

most of the companies kase nagtatanong if naterminate ka naba?

eich - again you may or may not put it in your resume but declaring a one month stint will definitely invite questions.  And you do not want to attract the attention of your prospective employer to a negative aspect of your career, you'll want to highlight your achievement and potential.  If I were in your case, I will not include a one month employment but that's me.

Agree, recruiters will definitely want to know if you have been terminated because they want to know what kind of employee you are.  As much as AWOL is a negative word, being terminated is worse.  Being let go or terminated lowers your employability or value.  Terminated could mean you did something offensive, or you're redundant.

Lastly, and let me reiterate this, never lie but do not volunteer a weakness. Remember you are selling yourself here. If they ask, then tell them.  It's always better to start with a clean slate. If they did not ask about it, woooh, it's your lucky day.

Hi HR GT's! HR din ako for 3 years. Kasi nung ngstart ako mgwork as Hr I used to be focus talaga kasi gusto ko mg excel at matuto. Gusto kahit may sakit papasok kahit sobrang masama pakiramdam mo.
I'm sick that time and i took a rest? I'm okay now and ready to go back to a workplace. Thanks

Hi! May work ka na sis? :P You have to be honest lang about your reason.. You took a break because you wanted to be in the best shape before you go back and work productively. Employers will only look for a clean bill of result from your PPE or Pre Employment Exam. And that's about it. God bless!

Just sharing...got this from an HR group:

YOU KNOW YOU'RE IN HR WHEN:

You are the most loved and most hated person in the
organization. And it changes from person to person, day to day,
depending upon whats going on.

You know you're in HR when...
A Saturday off means that you take enrollment forms and
applications home and work from your bed and laptop for a few hours JUST
so you can see your desk Monday morning.

You Know You're in HR When ...
You try your best to solve employee issues/problems and they
don't believe you have good intentions. Employees see you as a spy for
management and discussions are put on hold when you show up.

You Know You're in HR When...
Your kids get into a fight and you ask them to write a statement about what happened.

You Know You Are in HR
When everyone in the office hates you for enforcing organizational policy.

You Know You're in HR When....
When your boss tells you all of his plans and visions and asks
you to implement them asap and with little help from him, if none at
all...
When you feel that you do not have the right to be cranky or
irritated or disappointed because if you do, where will they go to
unload their baggages?...
When you know you have to fit into a small budget just to get an activity done for the employees...
When you feel you want to go absent for a whole day without texting or emailing anyone from the office...
When you SUDDENLY, OUT OF THE BLUE, you felt good because someone
came to you and said, "HR, you're so good at scouting good venues for
teambuilding activities," which you thought was impossible to hear! When
after an activity you ask people if they have any concerns or violent
reactions and they say none but afterwards they talk behind your back...
When everyone else in the room suddenly becomes agitated when you pass
by - because they are either watching movies on YouTube or playing
games...

You know you are in HR...
...when the President of the company tells you to improve morale
and work on ways to create a more positive environment and then he
turns around and publicly reprimands several employees; ...when
employees come into your office to complain that a co-worker stole their
staples.

You Know You're in HR When......
When you can't afford to be late to work because, if you do, it will send the wrong signals to the employees.

You Know You're in HR When...
The first three comments you make on a Monday morning are: "They did what?", "Again?", and "Seriously?"

You know you are in HR when...
You are 22 years old but feel like you have 300 whiny children
who don't appreciate anything you do until you give them a gift or
incentive.

You know you are in HR when.....
You are between a heated argument at 6:00 pm on a Friday in regards to wallpaper on a computer.

You Know You're in HR When...
You get calls in off hours from employees complaining they need
this and that....asking for emergency leave....but you are not in a
position to fulfill it now. The employee gets angry with you and your
family gets angry with you because you are involving yourself in office
business during off hours.

You know you're in HR...
When you're told to come up with suggestions on how to improve
employee morale but then the boss completely decides to do things
his/her way.

You know you are in HR when......
Your date doesn't show up when he is supposed to, and when you
finally do talk to him, you tell him that this is his final warning for
being a "no call/no show", and if it happens again, you will have to
terminate him.

You know you're in HR when...
You have kleenex, mints, pens, and legal pads in grabbing
distance; too many sticky notes to keep track of; and yesterday's lunch
is still sitting on your desk unfinished next to the wrappers of the
chocolate you had instead.

You Know You're in HR When
You stop in to see an employee and they immediately say "What did I do?"
