^sis what is the blessing for the couple? i'm a catholic while h2b is a christian. and his pastor agreed to solemnize.

^sis I noticed kase during my cousin's wedding, the pastor officiated the wedding then during the blessing of the couple, they called my father-in-law who is a bishop to do that. I'm not sure though kung ganon din yung samin kase our wedding governor is the one organising the ceremony program flow eh.. tapos iba din yung bishop na mag solemnize ng wedding namin. I'll follow up then will let you know

had a meeting with the officiating pastor (h2b's brother) yesterday. wala naman syang sinabi re dito. however, he said na baka yung isa ring pastor friend nya tutulong for the ceremony.

sis bubugirl, no need to change religion to have a solemn and personal wedding ceremony.

may option tayo to get a solemnizing officer instead. that's what we did. catholic kame pareho ni hubby pero since gusto namin na touching and personal yung wedding namin e we opted not to do it in church. ang dami kasing bawal.

Hi sis! Yung solemnizing officer niyo ba pastor? Which one yung  nauna? The garden wedding or the simple church wedding? Ganito rin kasi gusto namin mangyari, yung church wedding kami kami lang with immediate family. Thanks!

Kahit di kayo same Church ng officiating pastor for wedding sis pwede naman, importante naman dun may license siya kasi naka note yung license number sa marriage contract as far as I remember.

^^ yes sis nag attend kami ng pre-wedding seminar/counseling kahit abroad kami pareho so bale total ng ng 6 weeks yun (once a week yun, 4 hrs each session kasi maraming activities, sa isang local Christian Church na malapit sa residence namin overseas). Dito sa pinas I'm not sure lang if saan meron aside from your local Church siguro na may ganitong program. Pwede rin naman siguro sis yung elders sa Church where you usually attend, na sila na lang personally mag conduct for you if wala pang program available for soon to wed couples.

^ no problem sis! kami din kasi pastor from other Church nag conduct ng ceremony namin since gift yun ng friend sa Victory kasi ako then Word for the World naman si hubby kaya okay lang yan.

Hi sis, you may want to check UCM in makati or CCF. CCF has a lot of churches around manila

I attended CCF's premarital counseling sessions. It took us about 3 months to complete (around 12 sessions, 1/week) but really worth it. It's free too!

You can try VCF also

thanks sa responses ninyo mga sis..naku madami palang session yung counselling? hindi ko alam kung magagawa namin yun.. ang next na uwi ni h2b is September at ang susunod dun ay wedding na namin..we are both in the military kaya di ko alam kung magagawa namin yun..ang pinaka mahabang uwi pa naman ng h2b ko pag magleave siya is 10 to 15 days..may crash course kaya ang counselling? hehe..and yes, gusto namin sa CCF o VCF magpacounsel kasi as we start our marriage and family life, sa CCF na kami magchurch..sa ngayon kung saan kami maassign, sa VCF kami nagsisimba kasi maraming Victory sa bansa kaya okay na sa VCF kami magpacounsel kung sakali..and oh,i don't know if it's a right question pero may bayad ba ang counselling or love gift? sorry wala akong idea talaga..

Mga sis, pagnagwawalk sa aisle ba ang bride pwede kahit anong song? Like sa Catholic kasi mahigpit sa songs. Naghahanap kasi ako ng pwede sa wedding namin then narinig ko yung Una't Huling Pag-ibig ni Yeng and yun sana gusto ko sa walk ko. In love na ako sa song madidissapoint lang ako kung hindi ko siya magamit. =P

our officiating minister did not give us any restrictions regarding our song choice pero syempre dapat church-appropriate pa din.

I really enjoyed our marriage counseling at CCF. The most practical experience for me, and until now, we still share with soon to be married couples snippets of our sessions. It took us a few months to complete because we did a one on one counseling, but super happy with all that we learned.  Even to my non-Christian friends, I would recommend them to go to CCF for the counseling.

Hi everyone. I also attend CCF but in Malolos. I just want to know if ok lang ba na sa CCF Main kami mag attend? If yes, do anyone have their schedule? 3rd quarter pa naman kami ng September.  Thanks!
