haay sis mhoy, hindi ata talaga mawawala yang mga echoserang taong ganyan. 

not sure how it is with christian weddings sis ha pero afaik, yung veil, candle and cord e tradition lang yan ng filipino catholic weddings. yung mga ibang catholics sa ibang bansa don't do that.

kami, we didn't have secondary sponsors kasi we decided not to include it sa ceremony. however, if you still want it and ayaw mo na magdagdag ng tao, you can ask your BM/GM to also be the SS since 3pairs din naman ang kukunin mo.

thanks sis beanpipe. Actually kaya 3pairs un bms/gms dahil don sa veilcordcandles, yoko na mag dagdag ng ento nakakaloka Lang haha. wala ako idea bout weddings dko din naman inexpect na ikakasal ako haha

Sa Christian ba may secondary sponsors pa??Naiirita na kase ako eh..
Nasa isip ko Lang talaga 3pairs ng ninong/ninang then 3pairs ng bridesmaid/groomsmen kaso etong friend ko magmamaganda dapat daw may secondary sponsors for the veilcordcandles eh ayoko nga ng masyadong marami ng ento kainis.. lol gusto ko yung bmgms gagawa nun.. Haha rant mode!

^ ako din, gusto ko konti lang ento ko kaya yung bridesmaid and groomsmen ang nilagay namin sa veilcord and candles. kase pag hindi sila, anong gagawin nila sa wedding?

tama ka dyan sis mistyb.. parang decoration lang naman talaga ang mga bridesmaid and groomsmen. wala naman silang participation kundi ang maglakad lang sa aisle. mas magastos pa kung tayo pa ang magpapatahi ng damit nila ..  parang hitting 2birds with 1stone lang yan.. sa panahon ngayon kelangan maging practical na.

Mga sis, to have a christian wedding do we (my h2b and I) need to change religion paba?

Originally, I wanted to have a civil wedding para tipid, very close family and friends lang. then we thought christian wedding would be nice because of the relax and solemn ceremony (so far sa mga na aattendan ko ng christian wedding) but since my h2b is a only child and Im the eldest in the family our parents want us to do a Church wedding. so here we are na.

Parang I am doing this wedding for our family hehe iam just enjoying the ride in preparing my wedding. hehe....

sis bubugirl, no need to change religion to have a solemn and personal wedding ceremony.

may option tayo to get a solemnizing officer instead. that's what we did. catholic kame pareho ni hubby pero since gusto namin na touching and personal yung wedding namin e we opted not to do it in church. ang dami kasing bawal.

kumuha kami ng solemnizing officer to officiate our garden wedding. napaka touching ng moment. iyakan, tawanan. it was the best!

we did it the other way around, bongga yung civil then simple lang yung church rites.

hindi sikat ang option na 'to sis, pero it's possible. buti nalang andito ang GT para magbigay ng tips and magshare ng mga secrets.

but both family is quite conservative and traditional kaya pilit nila kame mg church.

Bubugirl sis okay Lang kahit hindi, madali naman humanap ng pastor pero Ang alam ko may seminar pa rin sa Christian catholic ako and h2b is a Christian so ako Ang magcoconvert masaya naman sa Christian church hehe dun na ako ngsisimba

for me lang ah. choice mo naman e if you want pa secondary sponsors. pero if gusto na konti lang ang ento mo gawin mong konti lang ang bridesmaid tapos lipat mo yung iba sa ento para sila ang magdala ng wedding symbols nyo.

okay nadin sis na sa church na kayo agad. atleast hindi mo na pruproblemahin sa huli. gusto kasi ng mga oldies e church wedding talaga.

I've been to many many Christian weddings, and ALL of them had the veil-cord-candle bit. You can opt not to have it of course (provided it's ok with your pastor), but it's become a Filipino tradition/wedding staple, and personally I think the meaning behind it is nice naman.

My sister had a beach wedding with less than 50 guests, and what she did was have her 2 pairs of bridesmaids+groomsmen act as the secondary sponsors too (2 pairs lang not 3 because they had a sand ceremony instead of candle). Easy peasy.

Hello girls! Will be having a Christian wedding as well next year. I have talked to the officiating minister just last week to verify the ceremony program. He mentioned na depende naman daw talaga yun sa preference ng B&G. If you want to have veil, cord & candle, okay lang daw.
