yes! nagawa na namin [textspeak!] prenup at pagpasa ng marriage license kay pastor. next step na.. what a relief.. nga pala mga sis. pano naging arrangement nio sa upuan. kasi kami ceremony and reception in one place lang e.. sis becca advice na mag arrange ng mga chairs sa harap.then [textspeak!] mga round tables nasa likod nalang nun para ok. may iba pa ba kaung suggestions? [textspeak!] maliit lang place namin.. baka masyado ng mapunta sa likod [textspeak!] mga bisita pag ganun. or ilang rows lang ok na setup nun sa harap? do ko na ltg knows pano ayusin un.

Wow..what a relief nga!  about sa seating arrangements, ganun din ang alam ko pag one venue lang ang ceremony at reception.. may naka arrange lang na upuan after dun sa platform ng bride and groom..then sa likod, mga round tables na.. Yung plan kasi namin sa wedding namin, one venue din, pero hiwalay na pavillion ang ceremony at reception hehe.. ayaw na kase namin isipin pano ayusin at pagkasyahin hehe..

hello just want to ask the basic requirements in christian weddings. i asked the church sabi license lang. may mga seminars pa ba yun? when we asked kasi sa catholic parang daming requirements and seminars. just wondering why sa church that we went to, parang wala naman. my fiance and I have different religons kasi. thanks!

Hay I still couldn't find THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH for my wedding ceremony next year.


My fiance and I have been to Elinwood Malate Church but I did not like it because of the old smell. Well it's an old church so the old smell should be normal. Aside from that, the parking will also be difficult since it will be along the side streets though its not in the major road.


Good Samaritan Methodist Church- it's an okay church, cheaper than Ellinwood, but my preps and reception will be at the Peninsula. I think it would not be a smart idea since Makati and Quezon City will be a long drive with a Friday traffic plus with all the construction going on along Araneta Ave, it would be major gridlock. Oh and no parking too.

Central United Methodist- Okay sana ito eh, wala lang aircon. I need aircon!!!!

Holy Trinity Church Manila- perfect location na sana since it's in Forbes but I'm having second thoughts on shelling 45k for a short aisle. Manila Cathedral with its uber long aisle charges 35k, that's my benchmark.

VCF Fort- its good for reception and ceremony in one.

I basically need an enclosed space, preferably a long- aisle, air-conditioned Christian Church around Manila/Makati area with ample parking space and a decent rental fee of not more than Manila Cathedral unless they have the same aisle length.

Parang wala atang ganun church noh. =(

sis try VCF Fort. They have a VERY large worship hall that you can rent which will be good for reception and ceremony in one. Mga good for 400 pax ito, more pa.


All the other churches na nabangit ko, for ceremony only. I'm still in search for a long- aisle air- conditioned church. Any recommendations please..... preferably Makati, Manila or Taguig Area

Di ko type yung Union Church in Makati. Mukang no choice na kami but to book Elinwood.

Hello mga sis! Few questions lang..
Ano requirements sa VCF? Nagkakasal ba sila ng hindi nila member?
Allowed ba sa kanila na outside ng church nila yung ceremony? I'm thinking of having a christian wedding since magkaiba naman kami ng religion ni bf, catholic ako mormon naman sya. Aside ba sa VCF, ano pang christian fellowship yung pwede?

Ummm, for VCF one most important requirement is that you believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. You have to ask your fiance because this would be contrary to their belief. This would all be the same for all Christian churches. Some would not require you to be a member or would not require you to be baptized and stuff but its mandatory to go through pre- marital counseling.

I've been reading this thread for a long time now but this is my first post though
My fiance and I are planning to have a Christian wedding by next year, either late Dec or January 5, 2013. I recently converted my religion when I migrated here in Canada. I am a Born Again Christian now. My H2B though is still Catholic.
Currently I am looking for pastor who will be willing to officiate the wedding. I will be home for less than three weeks before the wedding. I understand that there are pastors who require seminars. I respect the standard process but I have limited time. GT sisses, do you know any pastor (preferable Born Again) who is willing to officiate our wedding and willing to work on our schedules for the seminars? I can do the seminars as soon as I get home. I just need his commitment that he would agree for the date, then i'll book my venue, coordinators and other suppliers na.
I just need an assurance that we will have an officiating pastor for the wedding. TIA!
