^sori sis di ko na masyadong maalala sa sobrang kaba, saya basta halo-halo na emotions ko nun kaya parang windang ako he he he. If you have a pastor sis, you can discuss the wedding ceremony program with him kasi yung pastor namin may ready na syang program (automatic kasi yan na pag pastor dapat alam may wedding ceremony program na sya) all he has to do is to get our opinions or suggestions kung may gusto kaming baguhin, etc. HTH!

basta sa Christian wedding sis kahit ano usually pwede. There is freedom sa Church, well at least with mine. Christian Churches are waaaaayyyy more open than Catholic.

one, under Phil law pwede ka ng ikasal kahit wala kang parental advice kasi till 25 years old lang yun. So kahit walang signature ang daddy mo.

Regarding conversion, you really do not need to convert, baka gusto lang ng Pastor is that you go to church.

I'm a newbie here po! we are planning to have a christian wedding on December. I'm a christian and h2b is catholic. Possible po bang ikasal kmi sa christian and after that catholic wedding naman? coz his family also wants to have a catholic wedding. Advice po.. ;)

Im christian too and BF is Catholic. Ako personally hindi ko gusto ang double ceremony, (1) money-wise it's Impractical, (2) kapagod naman nun for you and the guests, ang haba ng seremonya mo, tapos magkaiba pang venue.  (3) Pano yun pag sinabi ng pari luhod, sila luluhod ako hindi, and i will not respond to the responsorial psalms etc...

It's ur wedding, kayo dapat ni h2b ang magdecide..  Also sa christian wedding, walang part dun na against sa doctrines nila.  So mas practical to go for christian wedding.

havent hear of any pastor nagkasal na both catholic ang couple

just go to a nearby christian church and talk to the pastor about your wedding. They help you with
the details. Try ccf or vcf.

i am from ccf. Christian couples must undergo counseling sessions. If those people who will counsel are not convinced that the couple are ready for marriage, then, they will refuse to marry the couple. They will also measure the maturity of both Christians. As far as I know, my church also do not allow inter marriages or even non-christians. Or will allow to marry to a separated or divorced partner. Im just a little surprised that some churches do that. The only doctrine we follow is the bible. And the church will abide by what only the bible says. One does not need to convert to become a born-again Christian. You just accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Wholeheartedly. It is all about personal relationship with Christ. Not ( never) a religion.

I also have the same problem sissies, me and h2b are both catholics, but we're gearing towards a beach wedding and as we know hindi pwede magkasal ang priest in other venues aside from the church, so I'm thinking of it as magiging christian wedding, is it possible kaya?

possible. you just have to find a pastor who is willing to officiate your wedding.
counseling with this pastor is mandatory. For the other requirements it really varies (such as baptism
etc).

nung kinasal kami 4 yung ninong namin na Pastor, lahat required na dapat macounsel kami, ayun daming seminar kaya in the end maganda din yung kinalabasan ng wedding namin, sobrang saya, as in walang flaw.

napakwento tuloy hehe ;)

pag judge pwede kyo ikasal s beach. if u want a pastor, most of them required na christians kayo.
