^ano specs sis ng x80NE? tsaka ano mas mura? gagamitin ko kasi sana pang develop ng programs since programmer ako and also the usual surf, chat, and for docs.

almost the same lang din yan ng asus x80le except for the processor and video card. pero ang price difference is about 3-5k depending on where  you are buying.

Sa mga Asus eee pc 1000h users, I have some questions.
I'm really contemplating if I want this or just get an MSI wind 100 which is cheaper. Mostly they have the same specs except 1000h has a multi-touch pad, bluetooth, wireless N and the Dolby speakers.
These are my plans if ever I decide to get this:
Install Vista OS, photoshop CS3 or CS4, acrobat, iTunes, VLC, Firefox +add ons, irfanview, YM messenger 9, Utorrent, Salamander, Media coder etc.
I want to use this for web browsing, watching movies and TV shows, uploading pics and videos on the web, downloading(but not more than 1 gig files), maybe games(or not), read e-books, picture editing, and some.
So can this netbook handle all that?
How's the performance of the 1000h for multi-tasking?
Does it over heat when you have at least 4 applications open?
How's the webcam performance, is it clear or kinda lagging?
Any problems connecting to wifi?
Do you any other concerns or issues with this netbook?

I just bought an asus eee pc 1000H and I'm loving it! Bilis ng start-up and the 10" display is perfect for me. Fast rin ang wi-fi. I highly recommend it. Best buy na ito among its branded counterparts.

my thoughts on EEE PC:

- okay siya sa mga users na laging out of town or nasa field..
- handy talaga siya..
- quite cheaper compared sa ibang lappy


- walang cd/dvd rom
- ang liit ng keyboard

medyo nalilito na ako... ano ba yung model na 7 inches lang.. kasi nakikita ko puro 8-9 inches... what model can you suggest gusto ko yun 7-9 inches lang but pinakamalaki na yun memory.. hopefully windows ang os.. ive never tried linux.. is it hard?

RE Linux - nakagamit lang ako nito sa school nung college. ibang iba ang environment niya sa Microsoft pero nice din naman...

yung 7", yun [textspeak!] mga dati pang model ng ASUS eeepc, meron ako nun.. linux [textspeak!] OS nya is linux, ok naman siya but ininstallan ko na din ng XP kasi mas sanay ako sa XP, hehe.. mabilis naman yung WIFI nya, the problem is walang CD/DVD ROM, so small kasi, hehe.. puro lang external ginagamit ko pero super handy talaga.

my sister in law is using it dun sa condo nila, since may bayad sa kuryente yung "per gamit/appliance" ayun, natatago yun EEEPC, hehe.. daya

I am absolutely in love with my ASUS g50vt-x5. While I will admit to not liking the cheesy paintjob these are trifling matters when taking into consideration the 9800M GS video card, HDMI port, Altec Lansing speakers, Dolby Surround Sound, 4G RAM, US $ 899 price tag, etc. it comes with.

It runs Left for Dead, Sims 3, Guild Wars, Warcraft 3, etc. smoothly on the best settings! I've also tried to hook it up to a 1080p HDTV with a surround sound system and the video quality and HD sound simply blew me away.

i used to have an ASUS EEEPC 900H. it was okay as a netbook, was able to perform my basic needs - surf, download music, update iPod. and it was fast and matibay. when i test my downloaded music, the sound quality is really good, louder pa than bigger laptops. my only complaint is that the keyboard was too small for my big hands. nagka-crowd yung fingers ko pagtype.

i just bought an ASUS N20A, so far, so good. the size (12") is just right for me, not too small and not too big either. good specs, too. will comment again after a few days of using it.

nawala battery ng laptop ko.. IDK if it got lost or stolen.. but anyways, i was just wondering where to buy a cheap replacement.. preferably a brand new battery..

my laptop by the way is ASUS A8L series..
