dual boot- you can either boot into xandros or windows? windows is installed via the SD card, actually you can also put windows on a USB flash drive and boot from it. but its safer on the SD to prevent accidental removal while windows is running unlike USB di ba.

nalilito na nga ko if i should remove xandros and changed it to windows as my OS.  i-save ko na lang daw ang MS Office sa USB.  i'm ok na with xandros kasi pero mas preferred ko sana na gumana ang webcam sa chat, which i think is only possible pag windows.

what model of eee pc can you suggest that would perform well with games?  simple games lang nothing flashy sana.  and also, ok ba performance nya on the net?  we're looking at getting one for my daughter sana for christmas. thank you!

^with a lot of laptop makers taking cue from ASUS' success with its cheap UMPC, wait till "BER" season comes. its gonna be a more competitive industry thus we have better options for our money. everybody's jumping on the bandwagon, so i suggest you also expand your hunting to other brands.

i had my asus installed with windows xp na. nagka-problem nung una pero ngayon ok na. a family friend also includes 8gb sd card where ms office is installed. i think less than 1gb lang ang nagamit in installing xp.  in total i already have 12gb memory

How about the asus eee pc 1000? Any one who owns already? I'm tempted to buy one because I find the screen better eh than the previous models. The last time ngcheck ako around 26K sya with windows xp.

anyway mas interested kasi ako sa desktop kaya im eyeing for asus eee pc box b202..based sa specs mukhang maganda naman...esp yung energy saving chuva nya..

I bought my ASUS 1000H a week ago, I was so surprised coz never expected it to be so good.   I was choosing between MSI Wind and 1000H kasi I read from other sites about the reviews.  I want to make sure nga before I would really buy.  Actually mas favorable ang reviews for the MSI Wind pero I end up buying the ASUS 1000h simply because of the technical support.   I have an ASUS laptop na almost 4 years na sa kin pero ok pa as in.   I was looking into buying a Sony Vaio (59k) or yung Toshiba na 13inch pero since the primary purpose of me buying another laptop is for the portability....makapag internet lang everywhere I'd go kaya I decided na to buy this...pang harabas ba at least kung masira ok lang kasi di naman masyadong kamahalan.   Another thing I liked about it is Windows XP sya,  I just bought an HP desktop pero Windows Vista sya I'm having problems using mga programs na normally Windows XP can handle.   Also I used Asus 1000h to watch my videos/movies and the resolution is good.   About connecting to wifi no brainer sya super bilis talaga.   So if anyone is thinking of buying one go na ...

my hubby bought me an asus eee 1000H. same as above, no high expectations for a netbook but yeah, it's pretty good because of the bigger screen. And it's pretty fast di naman. I only use it naman for the basic office programs and surfing. But this is not for he power user ha. I doubt if this can handle photoshop and the like.

my hubby preferred this vs the MSI wind because of the battery pack. It is 6 cell vs the MSI's 3 cell.

just two days ago, i was at the mall, torn between asus eeepc 1000h and asus x80N. i end up getting x80N kasi onti lang price difference pero in terms of spec, mas panalo ang x80N.

now, that i'm tinkering with my lappy, i remember how cute and portable and lightweight the eeepc is. iniisip ko na lang that i can do so much more with my lappy.

other than that, i'm satisfied so far. except for the battery life. supposedly 6 hrs ang battery life nito. but when i timed, a newly charge battery only lasts for 2 hrs 15 mins.

i watched a movie from a flash drive, full volume. then my AVG din running on the background. yun ba ang dahilan? sobrang bilis naman ata magdischarge ang battery. am i doing something wrong?

hi sis, why don't you check out asus x80NE. almost same lang din sya ng x80LE. ang difference lang is processor at video card. pero medyo malaki ang price difference nila. if you're not particular with processor or video card, mas makakatipid ka sa x80NE.

^ano specs sis ng x80NE? tsaka ano mas mura? gagamitin ko kasi sana pang develop ng programs since programmer ako and also the usual surf, chat, and for docs.
