i think divorce should be legalized in the philippines. legalizing it does not mean we want couples to end their relationships immediately or that we do not value the sanctity of marriage. i think its only fair for couples who realize their differences to be able to find a partner that's really suited for them. i see no use in trying to stay together and not being able to function the way normal couples should. if there are children involved, then it should be thought out carefully. if at the end of the day they feel they really cannot settle their differences, then parents who file for divorce should set the proper expectations and communicate with their children. its better to have both parents separate than try to stay as a family and be dysfunctional. i think thats more destructive that divorce itself.
^ Yan ang mahirap. Kumbaga, gagawin lang trial and error ang Marriage which is supposed to be sacred. Konting away lang, gusto na ng divorce. That's what's happening nowadays. I know lots of people who are separated already. That's sad!
