Luxury bags are a relatively polarizing topic. While some see branded handbags as high-priority investments, others might scratch their heads, incredulous as to why these goods are sometimes priced in the millions. Well, no matter your inclination, it's best to settle the argument by saying that it's totally okay to love bags. Of course, the inverse is true, too—it's okay to not want to regularly splurge on high-value fashion items.

If you identify with the latter camp, you have an ally in Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo. The 43-year-old actress, chef, and mom does admit to liking luxury bags, although she says that she can't bring herself to shop too many.

"Mahilig ako, pero hindi ko kayang bumili. I mean, hindi kaya ng puso ko," she said in an interview with Pep.ph.

According to her, she only has two major bag splurges: a brown carryall from Hermès, and a classic flap bag in black from Chanel. While she allows herself to buy a couple of nice things, she sticks to her no-frills style, and mainly considers whether her buys will make good inheritance pieces for her children.

"May binili akong Hermès na bag. Tinanong ko [kung] pwede ba 'tong installment. O pwede, so check.

Ang daming grocery na nun, ang daming truffle oil na nun," she laughed, referencing the time she accidentally bought about P50,000 worth of truffle oil online after misreading the number of items she had added to cart.
