Karla Estrada's swimsuit photos recently made waves on social media. The 43-year-old actress flaunted her curves and encouraged other women to do the same. She posted a sneak peek of her shoot with international swimsuit brand Swimsuits For All that share the same advocacy as hers. PEP.ph reports that in an episode of her morning TV show, Karla further calls for Filipinas to own their bodies and dress up however they want as long as they feel confident.

With that, we talked to Ica Villanueva, the stylist who dressed up Karla for her swimwear shoot and asked for tips on how to choose the most flattering suit for all body types. She shared, "When choosing the right swimsuit, consider the cut, fabric, pattern or design, and even the color." To do this, opt for swimsuits that have stretchable fabric with a snug fit.

For the style, Ica recommended suits with low necklines, as this elongates your torso. Meanwhile, "maillots or cut-outs are also a good choice if you want to show a little bit of skin." The celebrity stylist notes that you can also use prints to "create illusions like stripes and graphic prints." She also reminds us to check the support of your swimsuit tops as this is also crucial, especially for girls with big busts. She says the trick is to buy suits according to your bra size and go for halters for sturdier support. She also notes that a tie-back suit allows you to loosen and tighten it to your preference.

Finally, to make it work, Ica says, "Just go for it!" Ultimately, confidence is key in making swimsuits look good on you no matter your shape or size. "Just be confident and show the world how beautiful you are!"
