There's a highly-relatable meme on the internet about how a woman "means business" once she puts her hair up in a ponytail or a bun. Well, if you're Heart Evangelista, this still holds true, but maybe you'll kick it up a notch and add a vintage Chanel brooch (or three) to your tresses. Totally casual.

Heartbeing Hearthas recently been schooling us on how to make ponytails anything but basic, and we're taking notes. Of course, not every one can sport designer hair accessories, but that doesn't mean that you can't cop the look and add your own creative touch. Here's a list of Heart's most extra 'dos of late that you can twist and make your own:

1. The first ponytail that caught our eye was the one adorned with Chanel brooches and silver clips.

Ever one to set trends and add her personal twist to things, Heart constantly collaborates with her go-to hairstylist Jeck Aguilar to come up with new looks. Here, she repurposed her Chanel brooches-some gifts, some she personally acquired over the years-to make her hair stand out.

Put your hair clips to good use! Go classy with metals, or softer with actual flowers set in resin.

2. And in more Chanel news, here's a voluminous messy ponytail topped off with that famous logo:

3. Heart shows that grownups can wear bows, too.

Just get any ribbon from your tin can of sewing supplies! Or if you want the perfect bow, get a clip or a scrunchie that already has one pre-tied.

4. No dainty ribbon? Scarves and bag wraps can double as hair accessories, too.

Any hankerchief will do, but silk and satin ones give the look a classier vibe.

5. We used to think bubble ponytails will forever remain part of our childhood memories...

But apparently, Heart thinks we should bring it back, and we're kind of convinced:

This look even got featured on Harper's BAZAAR's Insta!

More floral accents! You can go with blossomed ties, or barrets you can easily clip on.
