Many Filipinas have a not-so-secret wish to become flight attendants—the interest in our appropriately themed stories are proof of that. And while we've come to learn that it's a career that's not always glamorous and requires a lot of hard work, the fact remains that it must be quite amazing to get paid to see the world.
Now, here's something to fuel that desire even further! Vogue just shared a clip of this video produced and posted by Condé Nast Traveler in January to show the evolution of flight attendant uniforms. It's super fascinating and entertaining to see—and it kind of makes us long for the groovy '60s, when bold red capes and thigh-high boots were apparently the norm.
