Many people are inspired by travel, and we here at FN aren't any different. There's just something glamorous about boarding a train or booking a flight to a place very different from our own. But as much as we'd like to jet off to parts unknown every week, we have responsibilities that need looking after! So until our next getaway, we turn to other things that are inspired by travel. Books—Paulo Coelho's Aleph will take you through the grand Trans-Siberian Railway—art—Vincent van Gogh's Cafe Terrace at Night is a colorful depiction of Paris—or movies—Wes Anderson's fictional The Grand Budapest Hotel even has actual reviews on TripAdvisor—all have a way of transporting us from our dreary office cubicles to lands far and away.
