Whether you're commuting to work, running to your next out-of-the-office meeting, or simply walking around the city, you can't deny that one of the beauty struggles of every woman in the country is making sure that her makeup stays in place despite the sweltering heat. While keeping your makeup in place can be a challenge, it doesn't have to be anymore because we're sharing with you all the makeup tips you need to know to melt-proof your makeup in this heat! So read on to find out how.

Make sure you start with a clean face.
Before putting on any makeup on your face, use a hydrating cleanser, toner, and moisturizer to clean your face. As celebrity makeup artist, Mickey See said, "There's really no better base than a clean face."

Blotting sheets are your best friend.
Oils will not help keep your makeup in place. So before applying makeup, remove excess facial oils with a blotting paper. Keep a pack in your kits, too just in case you need to freshen up in the middle of the day.

Always set with powder.
To make sure that your makeup lasts throughout the day, always set your foundation and concealer with powder.

Use a setting spray if you must.
While powder usually does the trick of keeping your makeup in place, if the heat outside is too much, grab a makeup sponge, lightly mist it with setting spray to set the powder coverage.

Line your lips.
Aside from boosting the color of your lipsticks, a lip liner also makes sure that your lip color stays longer.
