After lobs and super long hair dominated just about every salon this past year, it's about time to give an old classic a chance. Hollywood has seen its fair share of celebs with a bob or hair that falls right at the base of the neck. Hugot queens Taylor Swift and Adele are sporting the said chop. Joining the roster are Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Watson.
It's no surprise that this haircut will be popular come 2016. While long bobs have been hot here in our country since Kathryn Bernardo and Anne Curtis snipped their long tresses in 2013, and mermaid layers have always been a huge hit, the bob is a refreshing cut to welcome the New Year.
If you've got a round or square face, ask for subtle layers to avoid flyaways and heavy ends—FYI: This is when your hair looks like pyramid. For those with oval, heart, and oblong face shapes, you can still sport layers, but you can also go bold with a blunt cut.
