1. Looking down at your phone—always.
Sure, it's fun to scroll through your Facebook or Instagram feed via your smartphone, but constantly looking down at it will eventually give you text neck. Besides future spine problems, this habit will cause your skin's collagen to break down, resulting in sagging turkey-neck through time. As much as possible, keep your phone at eye-level.
2. Talking on your phone at all times.
A bit of chitchat never hurt anyone, but every time you bring your phone's screen to your face, you're transferring germs onto your skin. In fact, this study says smartphones house more bacteria than toilet seats! Our tip: wipe your phone with an anti-bacterial wipe regularly or use clean earphones.
3. Squinting at the computer screen.
Yes, you guessed it right. This seemingly harmless habit will produce fine lines around your eyes, forehead, and on the bridge of your nose. Avoid this by enlarging your computer's font size and lowering the brightness of your screen (this tip is also applicable to phones, by the way).
