The secret ingredient to shiny hair doesn’t really come from a bottle of shampoo—it’s all in your hands. Chris McMillan, Jennifer Aniston's hairstylist and Allure Magazine's resident mane master, divulged the no-brainer trick to score lustrous locks. It turns out, you have to start working on it in the shower by rinsing your hair like crazy!

Mcmillan explains, "Shampoo residue sticks to your strands like grime to a window and makes them dull. If you hold a section of the hair while it’s wet, it should squeak a little when you rub your fingers over it—that’s how you know it’s well rinsed."
