We're all for thick, bold brows, hence the sales influx of eyebrow pencils, powders, gels, and even growth serums. But, we're missing a crucial step to achieve perfect arches. According to a New Beauty interview with celebrity eyebrow specialist Elke Von Freudenberg, exfoliation is key in growing them lush. She explains, "Exfoliation on the brow area not only removes dead skin under the hairs, but can also help with hair growth by stimulation and giving circulation to the hair follicle." She further adds, "The more circulation to the hair, the better and faster it can grow."

To cop this technique, Von Freudenberg suggests looking for facial scrubs that can stimulate blood circulation without being too abrasive on the skin. She warns us to stay away from body scrubs and salt scrubs because these may irritate the eyes and the skin. Concentrate exfoliating on the areas you want brow hairs to grow, and scrub the area for about a minute every night. We think her suggestion can also boost the efficacy of brow nourishing serums.
