Actress Dakota Johnson suprised everyone with her newly chopped 'do, when she was seen walking around in New York City with significantly shorter hair along with an overall minimalist outfit, reports E! Online. She looked smashing in a structured gray jacket, round sunnies, black skinnies, and burgundy brogues. Her bob and signature tousled bangs perfectly framed her face.

As for those Fifty Shades of Grey fans who may be worried that Dakota's new hair (if she does return to the franchise) may affect her character's look in the steamy movie, we're pretty sure she'll grow it out just in time for filming.
