Here’s a common salon scenario: You come in with a peg for your hair cut, and a hopeful heart that after your stylist snips off inches from your hair, you’ll walk out looking like a star. The usual results, however, leave you disappointed: what was supposed to be a trim turns into a super short cut, side-swept bangs become a full-on fringe, or layers become too piece-y and hard to him photos of the cut of your dreams. What went wrong? Did something get lost in translation? We asked Piandré Salon creative director, Drea Zulueta to give us the lowdown on how to communicate with your hairstylist so you can finally get the haircut you really want.
