Whatever level of makeup skill you have, it's normal to get a few black clumps and blobs on your lids every time you apply mascara. And if you're worried about erasing your excellently applied eyeshadow or concealer, we teach you special yet easy techniques you can try to clean up the smears below!
1. Wait for it to dry.
Sometimes, you get clumsy with your mascara and end up placing either a big or small chunk of it on your eyelid or face. If this happens, wait for it to dry before you attempt to remove the smear. A wet blob, if removed, will only smudge all over the area, which will then require you to do the whole face.

2. Use a makeup remover and a cotton bud.
Once you're sure that the smear is dry, take a cotton bud and gently scrape it off. Dip it in micellar water first if the mascara is a bit tough to remove.

3. Turn it into eyeliner.
If the mascara smudged close to your upper lash line, layer liquid eyeliner over the mistake to cover it with a sharp feline flick!
TRY: Revlon Colorstay Skinny Liquid Eyeliner, P575, The SM Store
4. Conceal it.
Are you worried that you'll have to erase your eye makeup to remove the mascara blob? Well, all you have to do is apply a full coverage concealer with a tiny brush to cover it up, set it with powder, and dab the same eyeshadow on top.
