Xian Lim’s mom, Mary Anne Cruz-Lim, is hoping that actress Kim Chiu, whom Xian has been courting for a few months now, will finally say “yes” to her son. Kim and Xian first became close while taping the teleserye My Binondo Girl and are now set to star in a new series Ina Kapatid Anak.

"Si Xian I can see there's different glow in his eyes,” Mrs. Lim was quoted by ABS-CBNNews.com as saying during a phone interview on the October 1 episode of the talk show KrisTV.

“Malaking tulong 'yon na si Kim, I can see na aside from being sweet, Kim is very old-fashioned. Tulad ng nasabi ko sa iyo before, the first time we talked, sabi ko kay Xian, 'You find a nice girl.' And 'yan na nga siya. Sana sagutin niya na si Xian (It’s a big plus that Kim, aside from being sweet, Kim is very old-fashioned. Like what I told you before, the first time we talked, I told Xian, ‘You find a nice girl.’ And there she is. I hope she says ‘yes’ to Xian.)."

Mrs. Lim also said that she is hoping that her son will be more blessed in his pursuit of success in the showbiz industry.

"I'm really proud and what else can I ask for? I'm really blessed with wonderful son and very obedient. As long as he is happy that's all that matters to me," she said.
