Celebrity vlogger Wil Dasovich had a good laugh when he was yet again reminded about the faux pas that flustered Iya Villania.
“'Yan siguro ang pinaka-embarassing moment sa buhay ko,” he said about the incident that left him red-faced after meeting Iya for the first time.
It happened at the recently held MYX Music Award when, meaning to tell Iya about his admiration for her husband Drew Arellano as a travel show host, he blundered, “My dream was to be your husband.”
Not to mention he said this in front of his girlfriend, celebrity vlogger and cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao.
In an interview with PEP.ph after the Fox Plus Showdown held on Saturday, June 9, Wil recounted, “Luis Manzano made it so much worse kasi gusto ko talaga magpaliwanag kung ano ang gusto kong sabihin.
“Then, he wouldn't let me speak and he runs away. It makes it all [awkward].”
Nevertheless, it turned out to be a fun mistake, especially for his YouTube channel's viewers.
Wil said, “You know, at the end of the day alam kong entertaining 'yan sa mga viewers.
“There's always a silver lining. There's always a right way to look at things.
"And people thought it was funny. It's all right.”
Also, obviously, it was not an issue with Alodia, whom he supported during the Fox Plus Showdown until the end.
Wil said, “She's been there for me from the very beginning and she's been doing it all for me.
“I was actually relying on her to win this thing. She's very sweet.”
“I'm doing fabulous. I'm still recovering,” he said, “I'm almost 100 percent, siguro mga 75 or 80 percent na ako.
“Tuluy-tuloy lang ang mga ginagawang kong trabaho and having fun traveling and just enjoying the moments with Alodia.”
Wil promised to post more vlog entries from his different gigs on his YouTube channel.
