[Edited: Dec. 13, 2020, 1:22 p.m.] In case you missed it, Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano announced their engagement on December 12, 2020 via social media with a slew of beautiful beach-side photos. The ring was a sparkly diamond cluster, with the bride-to-be tagging Manila Diamond Studio in her posts.
Manila Diamond Studio also posted photos of Jessy and the ring on their Instagram page:
Radiant Jewelry, however, claims that the ring was from their studio. In a December 13, 2020 statement (posted as is), without mentioning any other jeweler, they said:
“It is unfortunate that a company would insinuate a work or something they did not do. We feel the need to inform the public that this is our work. We are the original creators of the engagement ring of Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano. In our opinion taking credit for something they did not do is detrimental to the industry that have ring makers who put their heart and soul to their pieces. Such a post or announcement is very misleading and unethical.”

In the comments section of Radiant's instagram post, Luis himself answered the allegations (posted as is):
“While Radiant did help us procure the main stone, we had a completely different setting, add ons, and design made thru @maniladiamondstudio, so yes, the design Jessy is wearing right now is from her own design and @maniladiamondstudio :)
“So, the final design on Jessy’s finger was from her own design and @maniladiamondstudio, not the one made by Radiant ;)"
Manila Diamond Studio has not released a statement as of writing.
