You’ve probably seen footage of Beyoncé’s sister, Solange Knowles, attacking Jay-Z while they were inside the elevator last year, and the reason behind it—apparently, Solange had caught her sister's husband flirting with designer Rachel Roy at the Met Ball after-party.

Now, recent news says that Queen B’s heartbreak was not because of Rachel Roy but because of singer Rihanna. Celebrity biographer J. Randy Taraborelli’s book, Becoming Beyoncé: The Untold Story, says that Jay-Z had wanted to attend an after party with Rihanna that night, and Bey said no. This was reportedly the reason why Solange lost her temper and furiously attacked her brother-in-law.

Even though RiRi’s publicist has clarified and confirmed that they cooked up that story to promote the singer’s debut single, it still bothered Beyoncé to the point that the couple split for a year.
