gretchen_barretto.jpgActress Gretchen Barretto reportedly got offended and cut an interview short at the photo shoot for her upcoming teleserye, Muling Buksan ang Puso, on June 16, PEP.ph reports. The “walk out” allegedly happened after a reporter compared her daughter's education (Dominique is currently in college) to her finishing third year high school.

“Does it matter at this point, because you cannot put someone down just because meron pagkukulang. Meron naman tayong pagkukulang, but that doesn't mean I'm less of a person. Nakakapikon. I think we should just stop now,” Gretchen is quoted as saying on TV Patrol before she left.

She later clarified the issue at an event at Shangri-La Hotel Makati. “I did not walk out. I just believe that people have a choice,” she is quoted as saying on PEP.ph. “When there's something you don't want to deal with you can walk away. If you don't like the situation and you feel it's sticky, walk away. We're all just human to get affected; I hope other media people can understand that.”
