Vice Ganda opened up about his recent tampuhan with his It's Showtime co-host Karylle. He admitted that he felt a tad hurt when Karylle wasn't present at his Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy victory party because Karylle allegedly said that she was feeling a tad lazy at that time. However, he said that he let it pass, since they had to support their fellow co-host Vhong Navarro, who got involved in a mauling incident.
“Dahil nangyari 'yung Vhong Navarro, sabi ko, ‘Okay, dahil may issue sa Showtime, I have to lead the group. I had to lead the group, I have to stand...’ So, okay na kami ulit. Tapos, hanggang sa may nakarating na naman sa akin na sobra akong nasaktan (Because of the Vhong Navarro incident, I said, ‘Okay, there's an issue in Showtime, I have to lead the group. I had to lead the group, I have to stand...’ So things were okay between us, until I heard another story that really affected me),” he was quoted by PEP.ph as saying.
Parang nahe-hurt siya [Yael] at hindi niya matanggap, na sa dinami-rami ng puwedeng i-pair up sa girlfriend niya, bakit bakla pa (Direk Bobet saw Karylle somewhere, and she told him that she's trying to avoid me because her boyfriend, Yael, is offended and hurt that his girlfriend is being paired up with a gay partner.).”
“Sobra akong nalungkot. What's so offensive about my gender? I really felt sad so I avoided her.).”
However, the comedian also shared Karylle apologized to him.
Pero huwag na nating pilitin (She admitted it. She gave me flowers and a letter. I told her everything's okay, but we shouldn't force things.).”
We can still be friends, pero deadma na ako sa loveteam (I don't want to say that everything's totally okay between us because I want to keep things real. We can work effectively together and we can still be friends, but I don't want think about the loveteam anymore.).”
