Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) box-office king Vic Sotto has been the subject of rumors of late, saying that he's in a relationship with 23-year-old actress Pauleen Luna, one of his co-hosts on afternoon show Eat Bulaga. The talk began when entertainment columnist Ricky Lo wrote in his "Funfare" column on The Philippine Star that "they are 'officially' an item" on December 7.
At the press conference for Vic's 2011 MMFF entry, Enteng Ng Ina Mo, on December 8, PEP.ph reports that the 57-year-old actor evaded answering the issue directly. When he was asked if he had a love life right now, he said, "Palagi akong may love life. (I always have a love life.)" In a similar joking manner, he also said that he was always inspired and his Christmases were always happy.
Finally, when the press asked what role Pauleen played in his life, he said, "Si Pauleen Luna has a very important cameo role in this movie [Enteng Ng Ina Mo]. That's it. That's all there is to it. In other words, sa Tagalog, hanggang doon na lang ang masasabi ko dahil mas marami kayong nasasabi kaysa sa akin. (That's all I'm going to say because you all talk about this more than I do.)"
