After his hospital release, Vhong Navarro went to the Department of Justice (DOJ) to hand in his supplementary affidavits, which include details of what transpired on January 22, 2014 and transcriptions of Cedric Lee’s text messages to him, reports PEP.ph.

The messages allegedly reveal Cedric’s demands for the It’s Showtime host to pay Deniece Cornejo a certain amount of money to compensate for the damage to the model’s condo unit.

Also included in Vhong’s evidence were screencaps from the condo’s CCTV footage the night he was beaten up. According to the same report by PEP.ph, the actor was able to identify his captors from the clips as Zimmer Rance or Simeon Raz Junior, Ferdinand Guerrero, Jed Fernandez, JP Calma, and Bernice Lee. Another member of the party has yet to be named. Statements from two witnesses were also taken into account.

“We are ready,” says Vhong's legal counsel Atty. Alma Mallonga. “Gusto lang ho namin, gawin na natin 'yung kailangan gawin (We just want to do what needs to be done.).”
